speed of light ehh?
-
WOOO WOOO that\'s fast!
-
speed of light being 186,282.3976 miles per second, 18x\'s that would be........carry the one.....fast!
-
thats uber speed...
"send us to light speed."
"no, no, light speed is too slow!"
"LIGHTSPEED TO SLOW???"
"send us into LUDICROUS SPEED!"
-
Are they serious, thats gotta be a mistake?
-
The speed of sound perhaps but the speed of light? I doubt it...
-
Some people just don\'t have a clue.
-
It would have made a lovely time machine.
-
maybe the guy typing the screen text mant to write.
Shuttle travelling nearly 18 times the speed of a Light Aircraft.
example
i mean if a Light Aircraft can do 350 miles per hour
then the shuttle can do 6300 miles per hour

It\'s official. You have no brain.

Wow, that is something to think about...
NOT!!!

18 times the speed of Sound... Even that is a humongous speed.
-
The fastest recorded speed for the shuttle (in orbit) is around 17,500 miles per hour. This equates to 25,700 feet per second. At normal conditions within a normal range at sea level, sound travels at 1,116 feet per second. Light travels at the speed of 186,000 miles per hour. I think that the shuttle could have been traveling 18 times the speed of sound but not 18 times the speed of light.

Yeah, I think they\'re quite serious seeing as how many airplanes travel 3-5 times the speed of light...
-
my blazer has a top speed of 18 times the speed of an electron in racer\'s brain.....
*bzzzzzzzt...... bzzzztttt........
-
You see, the truth wants to get out.
Nasa is actually working on faster than light propulsion based on reverse-engineered UFO technology, and the Columbia flight was a test run. The Greys noticed we were tinkering with something we shouldn\'t so they took out our shuttle. We have only ourselves to blame.

no way. You serious? Not-uh... Are you pulling our legs?:thepimp:

project86, you had a typo. Speed of light is 186,282.3976, miles per SECOND, not hour. ;)
