Pale in comparison to the XBox version, though. But at least everyone has a chance to play the game.

Doubtfully. Splinter Cell is on pace to become Xbox\'s second best selling game.

Ubi Soft has announced that it will be adding a number of new features to the PlayStation 2 version of Splinter Cell.

The game will feature an all-new binocular-vision headset, four new levels in the power plant area, 30 additional minutes of cinematics, and a new four-minute intro with music performed by the Prague Orchestra. Ubi Soft also has plans for Tom Clancy\'s Splinter Cell to support Dolby Pro Logic II sound.

The PlayStation 2 version of Tom Clancy\'s Splinter Cell is scheduled for release in late March.

:laughing: With proper marketing towards the 20 million PS2 owners in the US, it\'s got potential to be a HUGE seller. :D

I just hope for the PS2 owners sake that the graphical difference doesn\'t hurt the gameplay, because this is one of the few games that relies on it\'s graphix to push the gameplay and overall feel of the game.

Not only that it\'s pretty tongue in cheek too with words like "They thought we didn\'t have the technology", "They thought we have reached our limits", "They thought wrong!!!" and finally something about "you can\'t hold this game on one platform!!". Seems like almost referring to the PS2. :)

It seems to looks like at least about 85% of the Xbox version graphically, and if it\'s minus the bugs plus new features, I\'m all for it.

oh yeah, I think it can outsell the Xbox version easily if proper marketing are done.
