Well.....who ever thought that DVD discs could "rot"?
I\'ve heard of lamanates peeling off....but come on....DVDs rotting?
I need to check my old collection of DVDs.

Portrait of a real genius. I guess I had better get to checking my DVD\'s.
-
I had a cd rom game that rotted once, had to chuck it.
-
DVDs are still safer than VHS-tapes though.
-
A DVD is guaranted for 100 years, time enough to use it several times :D
-
Well, at least I know I wont be around when mine rot away.

Who keeps their receipt for more than one year for a DVD?
-
*yawn*
DVD and LaserDisc\'s both can suffer from "rot". Dvd\'s are just less likely. Nothing special. Nothing new.
-
hmm intresting, never heard abou this b4.... but most dvd are not that expensive, so even if they did , its no biggie to replace them
-
Heard of it.
Doubt its really going to affect business or anything, I still buy/rent VHS\'s when I dont have the money for DVD, or am to lazy to use the dvd player.
-
We might as well throw our DVDs away now.
Actually by the time they do show signs of rot we\'ll be on the format after HD-DVD. Porbably even further down.
-
well, Im sure they\'ll still last longer than VHS...
-
Yeah.... And eventually, you can just reburn them once technology like that becomes more affordable. :D
