hmm this car looks sweet, its got the front of of a Porsche (from other pics) and the rear of an Audi TT which is a good combination IMO.

I was at hot import nights this year and the Z was there.  This car has a Jizz factor of 10!

That looks like a plastic rear window, if I\'m not mistaken...  Not a great idea from Nissan if you ask me.  I need to see the car from a few angles before I decide.  Some vehicles just look stupid as hell with soft tops, and others look fine.  I\'d have to say none really look great with the soft top UP.  Many look fantastic with it DOWN however.  :D

BTW, the 350Z looks ridiculous with chrome wheels.  That was a very stupid choice.

I doubt if that is a true roadster.  Doesn\'t look factory.  I\'d think Nissan learned from the S2000 not to put a plastic rear window in.  Although it\'s hard to tell if that is glass or plastic from the pic.

The fabric doesn\'t look tight at all on the sides.

Plus would they put a car on a regular flatbed like that that isn\'t even on the market yet?

I think someone chopped the top off themselves and did the job.

I dunno, but there have been rumors of a 350 roadster hitting the market. If that is a chop, its a damn good one.

Is it just me or do those tail pipes not look stock? I am only used to seeing the Aust. Spec version from the Nissan brochure.

The wheels also look chromed/polished, and I thought they came in more of a matte finish. Same style though.

Chrome plated wheels are usually a dealer-applied option.  They look completely stupid imho.

Yeah, but the roadster isn\'t do out till this summer so I doubt if one would be riding around on a flatbed.  I dunno though. Maybe.

I don\'t really like them much.  The new Z seems a bit boring to me, but it\'s weird how Z owners have such a "holier than thou" attitude about them.  I think they\'re going to be completely ignored in a year or two, just like the previous Zs have been.  There are already so many of them around, and it\'s clear that this will never be a pure enthusiast\'s car.  I already see more women driving the AT version of the Z than anything else.

It\'ll be nice when the WRX STi and Evo 8 and the RX-8 come out, so the Z owners can\'t even remotely claim to be near the top of the heap.  Those guys will be kicking themselves for sucking the hype and paying a markup.

It\'s a shame when a nice car gets owned by a bunch of a-holes.  Something the Z will offer that the others don\'t is a better daily driver and much quieter highway driving.  2 things which really don\'t matter much but I think these and more reasons make it a classier car than a WRX, Evo, and RX-8.

I\'m pretty sure the Z will be able to compete with those cars performance-wise too.  If not expect next year\'s model to come with more horseys.
