Pretty sad.
-
its heart breaking :crying:
-
That is completely aweful.
That bastard should go to jail.
-
I\'m sure its punishing enough for him to just live with the guilt and agony of it all.
-
God, that is so horrible. I would have rather died.
-
Not a problem for me... I\'m not a heavy drinker, and I would never step in the car after any serious alcohol consumption.
-
^^
I never drive even after ONE drink. Its just too risky I think. If I go to a party, I sleep the night, or get a cab, or someone to drive me home.
-
Im a big drinker and that is something I pride myself on. In the last 8 years of drinking and having a DL, I have never gotten behind the wheel drunk.
As for that poor women, I think I would have rather been killed than to have to live like that. She is surely a strong one.
-
Why would you not worry if you don\'t drink? It doesn\'t matter if you drink and drive or not. She wasn\'t the one drinking in that accident, and look how she ended up.

That doesnt matter either. its just a wake up call to some that may drive after too many.

Dude, thats the whole idea. Can you imagine being the guy who did this to her?
I would be mortified for life.
-
Thats horrible...
-
That\'s one of the many reasons that I not only would never drink and drive, but don\'t drink at all.
-
Wow, just wow.
45 seconds of burning, now all of this rehab and operations...i would have much rather died.
-
Really sad.
I\'ve driven after quite a few beers... It\'s really hard, lol... That plus its like 4am in the morning and you\'re freakin sleepy. It\'s just a disaster waiting to happen
-
Oh my god... that\'s horrible. :crying:
I don\'t think I would be able to go on after that... I agree with everyone who said it... I\'d rather have died. Poor woman. :(
Anyone know what happened to that guy? He should go rot in jail, thinking about what he did to her. I\'d also make him go in and check out how she\'s doing... see her getting treated... so he has a fresh vivid image of what he did in his mind.
-
Apparently the man was tried, and put into jail, for intoxication manslaughter.

my god, that is sooo bad....
i am highly against drink driving, if a mate has been drinken i wont let them drive ec. even if they say there ok. thats is sooooo bad
-
I think the guy who was driving no matter how bad he feels should at least have one leg or arm amputated.
-
That is one of the most terrible things ever. She was so pretty before the accident, and now her life is destroyed.
-
Oh my God, this has to be the first time a website has made me cry.
I Hope this Stops people who think drinking and driving is ok, and i think it would be a perfect example of what can happen to people who are scared fro life.
i just wish anti drink / driving campaigns were this strong in the UK, then maybe we would have a reduction in drink driving deaths.

The Ironic thing about that is the US stop running the anti DUI commercials and MADD(mothers against drunk driving) commercials and started these stupid buying drugs supports terrorism and anti marijuana commercials.
They have all of the info right in front of them as to which( marijuana or alcohol) contributes to more motor vehicle related accidents and fatalities.
-
We have a local DUI running here in AK. It covers pretty much everything, marijuana, terrorism, sex, drugs, beer, driving underage. disturbing the peace..
Effecient.. lol

OMG, man and I just watched a walk to remember. I know this topic has nothing to do with it, but man!! Now I read this thing and see all those horrible things and it made me shed a tear. :( :( :(

This is the saddest case I have read in a while. I only recall one story as horrible as Jacquis - and it involved a gang of rapers and a 6-year-old girl ( whom did not die, but suffered horrible, horrible pain, and as a consequence, will never have children ).
I haven\'t been in a drink & drive situation yet - and I am not planning to face one either. If Jacqui\'s case won\'t make one learn, nothing will. Poor girl - she was a really good-looking person with a very nice body prior to the car-crash...
I would have chosen death, too. I wouldn\'t be able to stand the judgement society would place upon my head. A horrendous freak for the rest of my life. Plus the pain and the disabilities. She must be going through these thoughts every day... All the best to her. May she have mental strenght - for if her life isn\'t tested, then whose life is?
