What a moron! 6.4 trillion!!!!!!!
OMG! That is 6.4 Trillion and counting!
And when he took over we had a budget SURPLUS!
You know what, I don\'t fu$king care is Bill Clinton got his dick sucked by a welfare mother while burning a flag with lit food stamps. He balanced the FU$KING BUDGET!!!!
Now look at it. That moron takes over and within two years he has pissed it all away and caused us a huge debt. And don\'t try to say it\'s not HIS fault, because it was on of the issues he was using when he was running. He was all concerned with keeping the budget balanced and bla bla bla which I think is pretty fu$king funny that a republican would even say ANYTHING about the budget during the last election since the man that was responsible for balancing it was a Democrat.
So he should be keeping on top of it more like he SAID he was going to.. It\'s just a shame the Democrats had such a dork up there to run against DUBYA.
I can\'t fu$king believe people still support this moron. Oh but I guess it\'s because when something terrible happens in the USA he always has that stern look on his face and delivers those "America will not stand for...bla bla bla" speeches. Well fu$k that!
Bin Laden is STILL breathing, Sadam is pissing on our flag and laughing, KOREA is threatening us every day, the stock market is down into the 7\'s the jobless rate is way up, economy way down.
Like I said before, I don\'t care WHO was sucking Clintons dick, he ran the country much better than this egghead.
And that\'s a fu$king fact.
The only good thing about him is that he won’t make a second term, he will be an old one term just like his poppa.

we DID NOT have a budget surplus
did u take the $300 tax refund last year? then you helpedthe cause
GWB will serve a second term, and rightfully so
iraq and korea are NO threats to us. its laughable you would considerit otherwise. they are a threat to american corporations, nothing more
-
Are you forgetting something? That was a projected surplus. Secondly, the WTC didn\'t help either as our security caused an increase in spending. Stop blaming the President for everything that has happened.
Bush has had a rough 2 years and none of it was his fault. The economy started its decline well before the 2000 elections, 9/11, Iraq (which is Clinton\'s fault for letting him get away with everything under his watch), N. Korea (another Clinton attempt at appeasement) and now the Columbia.

Our government has been in debt for as long as I have been living (22 years), so the deficit isn\'t anything new. A deficit and budget surplus are completely different things. Sure a budget surplus would pay down the nation debt, but when your debt is in the Trillions it would take centuries to pay it down.
A budget surplus only means we are paying more taxes than the government needs.

Uhm, technically, one could place blame on dummy senior and not clinton right?
I do howeve blame CLinton for OBL.
-
Nah...the objective for Desert Storm was to free Kuwait. Also, Saudi Arabia asked that Saddam not be deposed. So - the blame goes not quite to Bush Sr. though he could have just said "Oops, well....a rocket fell on him. D\'Oh!"
-
If we had taken out Saddam against the UN resolution the first time, the screams that would have been cried out would have been deafening. How could a leader of one country do this to another, blah, blah, blah.

it cant be as bad as Ohio\'s governor Taft. during the re-election campaing he totally ignored the debt Ohio was in and then when he gets re-elected his memory returns...thre it is, ANOTHER reason why I hate Taft....the RAT wants to tax EVERYTHING!
:hat:ScottyJ:hat:

I haven\'t even followed what Taft has been doing, you make him sound worse than most do though.
-
Is he related to former President William Howard Taft(who was also from Ohio)?
-
yep, all the taft males were in politics. and all Crooks IMHO

I can\'t necessarily blame Bush for the way the economy is now... I can say that he could have done a much much better job at handleing it.. but this road we\'re on was paved a long long time ago. If you really wanna blame someone, blame Regan and his outrageous Cold-War paranoia military buildup which skyrocketed our nation debt from around 1.2 trillion dollars to almost 4 trillion dollars within 8 years. Granted, it helped stop the Cold War as Russia\'s economy collapsed trying to keep pace with us.. but Russia\'s downfall was comming. All Regan\'s efforts did was hasten the enevitable.
No matter which way you look it at.. our economy was headed south anyhow - and 9/11 coupled with our ensueing wars and beefing up internal security jus worsened it. We should have been doing this all along.. and spread that cost out.. but instead we\'re trying to do it all in just a few short years and it\'s biting us in the ass.
I also don\'t blame Clinton for Saddam or Osama Bin Laden. After all, it was Regan/Carter who trained and helped finance the SOB to help us fight against the Iranians in the late 70\'s early 80\'s. They should have known his background before handing over millions of dollars and loads of high-tech weaponry. After our fight was over.. he should have been disposed of... or at least monitered very closely. All Clinton is guilty of in that respect, is following precidence.
As for Saddam.. I want to hear what "evidence" the US has against him before really commenting. He should have been disposed of the first time around.. as we had promised to the Iraqi Rebel forces who guided our Special Ops forces around Iraq to help take out many vital targets. Instead, we left them at the mercy of a brutal regeime who we knew would hunt them down and kill them. Protection for those rebels should have been one of the conditions of surrender.. but it wasn\'t. At least that way, if we knew he was actively hunting them down, we\'d have reason to go in and remove Saddam early on.
Stop blaming this on just Clinton, just Bush, or just anyone. The position we\'re in now is a culmination of very bad decisions stemming back to Jimmy Carter and even earlier.

I don\'t blame Bush for anything that\'s going on. He knows what he is doing. I\'m not so sure about his advisors though and his VP. Whatever happened to Cheney? I haven\'t heard shit about him since 9/11. Anyway, sure, our economy might be in a slump right now but that happens. Its not Bush\'s fault. Really, it can be traced back to the 80s with Reagan and that Iran incident and we have to pay Iran a large amount of money. Something like that. Ever since then, a lot of tax dollars go there.
Really, the shuttle explosion will have not even a scratch on our economy. They only cost a couple billion dollars or even less. Less than a B2 bomber, about the amount of a handfull of fighter jets. If we go to war with Iraq or NKorea, IMO, like in WWII, we will come out of this slump. There will be a demand for soldiers and people to manufacture tanks and whatnot.

Cheney was at the memorial service for the astronauts at the National Cathedral the other day.
