recover deleted files? Some dumb tosser deleted a bit of me mp3s.:(Is there anything I can do?:sconf:

If I remember, Norton has a program built into its utilities that might help.
-
Also check the Recycle Bin...
But if they\'re not there, there are some File Recovery freeware programs out there that might do the trick.
-
Or you can just Download them again. Especially MP3s. It would probably take less time to DL them than to figure out how to undelete them. Assuming they aren\'t in your recycle bin of course.
-
If you use xp, could you go back to a previous restore point, before the mp3s were deleted. I\'m not sure but this might bring them back.

Omg, is that how you talk? Crikey!!!
If you have norton you can recover deleted files, you can also download them, or do a search on the computer, sometimes they are saved in more than one spot.

But if you wanna recover your files, the fewer you use yer pc, the better. Why? When you erase a file, the OS doesn\'t erase it actually. It only gives a preperty to that file in which it is said that "don\'t show" and "over write". With your common use of the PC, you\'re installing, uninstalling, saving files, changing the location... if you put a file in the sector one MP3 was, c ya MP3!! So don\'t touch yer HDD till recovered.
