Novalogic has released a new demo of their new game, Delta Force Black Hawk Down (its the forth game in the series).

I must admit that I thought the game would suck if it was based on the movie.. Luckily that does not seem to be the case.

The new Delta Force feels fresh IMO.. This new demo lets you fight on a big outdoor (where else?) map with lots of trees, grass and hills (perfecto for snipers!).

The old demo featured some boring Somalian city map.

Its a pretty heavy download, 132 MB for a Multiplayer map and a Singleplayer map.

Runs ok on my rig.. Some slowdowns if I climb up on a big hill and overview the battlefield. No big problems though.
Game looks excellent.

The weapons you get to choose from are CAR-15, M-16 with a grenade launcher, M-60 and a M21 sniper rifle.
Sidearm is a Colt .45, and you have three different grenades, frag, smoke and flash.

Same here, only difference is I downloaded the full game!

If you want it(or any other game)(i\'ll transfer it to you through Kaza or i\'ll put up a FTP), give me a pm...and please if this offends you then let me know, as I will never mention this sort of thing ever again.

Is it just me, or do those trees look horrible in the background?

They do..

Its the LOD.. When your far away the trees look very simple, when you get closer they "pop" up into more complex looking trees.

i don\'t like the game. Very simple yet seems to take alot of juice.  Textures are crap and game doesn\'t seem to play right imo. Even the sniper mode seems bogus. Can\'t zoom in..

Press F1 for control explanation :p
Snipers are weak.. Assault all the way ;)

As a old DF buff I like it.
