How good is Radeon is any one using it and how does it stack up to the gfocre
  The one I was looking to get is the Radeon 9000 Pro128mb

Radeon 9000 Pro > Geforce 4 MX series
Radeon 9500 Pro > Geforce 4 Ti series
Radeon 9700 Pro > Everything else :p

A bit simplified of course, but most any new Radeon card will be a good buy.

did i mention driver issues?

at least dont buy a "budget" card
get the 9700 if you really feel like wasting yer money

and dear lord, dont buy anything at worst buy

Yeah, ATI\'s drivers suck so bad...  Wait, don\'t they make some of the fastest cards around? Oh yeah. Thought so.

its a known and well established fact

think ATI remains in a distant 2nd place for no reason?

2-3 more years of thinning the market out and they will be back in the closet

Lol, ATI fanatic. I\'ve never owned an ATI card. Nor an AMD processor for that matter. :p

/me kicks samwise in the junk, steals his 3dfx card and adds it to his own collection (V1, V2, V3, V5)
