Now that\'s just a little too much. I\'m surprised they didn\'t just sue!
-
lol... stupid people.
-
That\'s unbelieveable.
-
Some people just have nothing better to do with their lives.... I shake my head at them.
Theyre hurting their child more by sheltering her from things like this. What happens when she moves out of the house and watches the news for the first time? "Child goes into shock from loacl news" film at 11:00

What a bunch of idiots. Trying to censor kids from words and visuals isnt going to help. They\'ll just learn about them in the wrong places. What we need is parents to start sitting down with thier kids every now and then and try to teach them the wrongs and rights of the world, instead of doing stupid shit like this which they probaly did just to get noticed.

Wonder what they would do when she comes home with a list witht he word sex...
-
Sex? What the hell is that? Sorry, my parents removed that word from my spelling list.

I allmost agree with the parents on this one....
I mean.... For the majority what is a gun used for today?
Killing people mostly.
Now when the little girl sees this word and does not know what it means, what is she going to do?.... ask her mother what it means.
"well honey.... its tool that shoots a piece of metal really fast"
"why do we need it mom"
"well.... uhh.... we use it to kill things"
"like what?"
"mostly other people"
all the parents are asking the school to do is restric the word in studies... its not like they are asking them to ban the word "the" or something.
-
One of the problems is by making even the word \'gun\' forbidden, they\'re making it more likely to make an impression when future kids DO hear it.
Don\'t people know that from age 13-20 kids learn about and sometimes try EVERYTHING that they\'re parents told them was wrong, or just didn\'t tell them about? It\'s called the forbidden fruit.
As for suing... thankfully it\'s much, much harder to sue in Canada than in the US, the courts here still dismiss out of hand the stupider cases.

Guns don\'t kill people, people kill people. What is the difference from someone punching to death someone and shooting them. Same end product. Anyway, this is rediculous. Yeah, I agree with the new gun restrictions in New Jersey, where you can\'t get one if you commited a felony and stuff like that (although its easy to get one on the black market) but taking the word out of school is rediculous. You can\'t shield kids from this forever.
