Robert Kincaid, from Gourock in Scotland, was amazed to hear the news when he underwent the procedure at Inverclyde Royal Hospital.
The 84-year-old had the check-up after falling in the street.

Oh yeah! What about that chick that was found to have a 12-inch extractor left in her from a surgery she had thirty years prior. I think she was an American. Hmm, I wonder what would be worse?

But being shot in the neck without ever noticing?Thats different,

A routine x-ray huh.... And only noticed now?

Come on; give me a break guys. In the heat of battle there is so much adrenaline running through a soldier’s body that most pain otherwise felt any other time would seem to be nothing. Besides, with the wonderful surgeons on the battlefield back the simple fact that the bullet was overlooked is a possibility. He probably thought it was just a lump in his neck from some scar tissue.

He should feel lucky that no arteries were severed by the bullet.

Wasnt he bleeding?
