Post by: (e) on February 17, 2003, 12:52:33 PM: I know alot of people know of little bands who haven\'t really become that popular, but hold talent. You know any?

Post by: Luke on February 17, 2003, 01:11:11 PM: i used to shop at a record store that the singer from thrill kill cult worked at... he was a pretty cool guy. his brother owned the store i believe. fi you like thrill kill check out "the electric hellfire club"... its the band he started after thrill kill broke up.

braid is my favorite band of all time. one of the guitar players left and then they reformed of sorts as hey mercedes. so theres 2 little known bands for you.

I\'m well aware of Tool, AIC, Metallica, etc. Its just the blend of hiphop/techno with rock that makes Linkin Park own everyone else. I don\'t care about what people say, they make good music.

Good band, not the best.

While they aren\'t huge, they are quite well known, here in Europe and especially here in the Scandinavian countries.

Seems like at their shows the majority of the people are there for them, and if they arent there for them they still mosh to their music. would kick ass if they got a label. Their drummer quit to go into softer stuff so their kinda slow right now, but once they find one theyll be back playing and making songs.

also "medicine" pretty groundbreaking stuff...

Of course theres the clasics tooo like sexpistols and ramones. O theres another cool band called atreyou or something like that. Its pretty badd ass if you like screamo. Theres lots more.

CKY is good and not well known here is us (i dont think) there vids are awsome. they were actualy filming some of it here in chicago!!

The main reason is for Metallica, not Deftones, anyway. I don\'t want to go without ever seeing Metallica live.

50 pounds of shit... I am serious, download some of their music. You will be amazed at this stuff. Its more of a slipknot fan type music, but fairly decent none the less. BTW they are from Sitka Alaska, (right next door to my stomping grounds) and I\'ve actually met them all before.
