My sound is really bad, when I try and listen to a song or something it crackles and makes high pitched noises, it makes it even worse if I maximize or minimize or right click etc. I have a sound blaster pci 128 with the latest XP drivers. I use headphones to listen to it. It doesn\'t seem to happen when I listen to it through the TV speakers.

Try
Turning down your play control slider in volume control....
Changing pci slots.
Try using different headphones. Could simply be they\'re s@#t. Make sure they\'re plugged in properly.

double click on the speaker icon in yer taskbar and reduce the wave knob it was useful for me at first. but if that and what soully suggested don\'t work try reinstalling the drivers i suggest downloading the latest one from http://www.creative.com
