Title: Really bad sound problem
Post by: Heat on February 17, 2003, 03:30:01 PM
My sound is really bad, when I try and listen to a song or something it crackles and makes high pitched noises, it makes it even worse if I maximize or minimize or right click etc. I have a sound blaster pci 128 with the latest XP drivers. I use headphones to listen to it. It doesn\'t seem to happen when I listen to it through the TV speakers.

Try
Turning down your play control slider in volume control....
Changing pci slots.
Try using different headphones. Could simply be they\'re s@#t.  Make sure they\'re plugged in properly.
