Yeah well...my favorite fighting game would have to be the Guilty Gear series, but that\'s just me...what abou you guys...and why? If you want more on there, just tell me...
-
Street Fighter Alpha 2
Nothing compares.
-
Never have I been a big fighting fan but if there is one game I had a blast playing it was Project Justice for the DC. That game was a riot especially the special move where everyone was doing that swimming dance.:D
-
Project Justice, huh? Never heard of that. The swimming dance? That sounds weird. I remember May in Guilty Gear with her death move...it\'s the stupidest thing I \'ve ever seen...a crowd would trample upon the character and then a really fat grandma cook lady would fall on top of them and kill them. That\'s why I like that game cuz of the incredibly stupid...or cool...ending moves.
And yes, Street Fighter Aplpha 2 is pretty awesome. I would have picked that, but I\'m stupid and set the vote choices to one per person...
-
Virtua Fighter 4. Dunno exactly why, but it was the easiest fighter for me to get into.

<<< Alpha 3 :). GGX2 is the shiznit tho. Old MK\'s, CapvsSNK, VF\'s and Tekkens, Hell even Battle arena toshinden 2. I love fighters. Too bad Xbox has to get CvsSNK EO with online. Damn them
-
Street Fighter Alpha 2 and Street Fighter III (take your pick of version) are totaly awesome. Alpha 2 is awesome because it did custom combos first and did it the best. III is awesome because parrying is beautiful.
-
Too many deserve to be my favorite, but I would say Tekken Tag.
-
I found Tekken Tag and 4 no better than Tekken 3. The graphics looks ace on Tag and 4 but the gameplay hasn\'t changed much.
My vote goes to Tekken 3 for being as good as it was 5 years ago. (Damn, that is a long time ago?!?!)
-
Maybe you should keep the 2-d fighters and the 3-d fighters separate in your poll.
Because comparing Guilty Gear X to Tekken Tag Tournament is like comparing apples to bathroomtiles.
-
Thrill Kill Wins it
No Health Bar.. just beat your opponent to a inch of their life until you freack them out then move in for the kill with one of the special finishing moves.
Pure Class
pitty it Was Banned :( God Damn you EA !
/me shakes Angery Fist at EA.

International Karate + (on the Amiga). This game was a classic which allowed 3 players to fight each other at once. Your could even drop your trousers by pressing T on the keyboard. :D

Not really, if compared with the others. It was sure fun as hell though...:)
And I just mixed 2D and 3D fighters because I was in a mad rush...I know they\'re different, but you can talk about both in the same thread. Saves time...
-
My favorite fighting game is, and will always be, because of the great memories...
Mortal Kombat 2
I love the series, but that one in particular.

U mean u lost the DVD?? No sweat. VF4:Evolution is coming along nicely...just hope they fix the background jaggies!!
-
How the hell do you people manage to lose complete games? I know where all of mine are at all times and that is quite the task when you consider the massive amount of classic game / rare / imports I have. Well over 300 games and I have never "lost" one game. I just don\'t understand how someone, with a smaller collection could manage to lose a game.
Was it stolen? Did you loan it out and not get it back? What? Please, tell me you didn\'t just "lose" one of the few great PS2 games.

never lost a game, but my friend tried to steal one of my PC games...
-
classic 2d fighter
Punch out on Nintendo and Int karate on commadore 64.
New 2d fighter.
any Marvel/streetfighter/snk VS games..
classic 3d fighter
a game called FX fighter on pc and the first tekken.
New 3d fighter
would be tekken4 and still soul calibur on dc.
-
IK+ on Amiga,
Damn it was fine... perfect gameplay and even graphics were exelent (including perspective correct and transparent shadows from the sun)
lost couple of games, and one was sent to new zealand by my friend... (found out about it when i asked about it half year later)
but, mostly by swapping and forgetting who owned what.

Although the series is tired I voted for Tekken 3. The 3rd is the best one (when Tekken was in its prime), and most likely will be the best from now on. Every one after that was too little too late.
