LONDON. - Three vessels that travel all over the world could take Iraqis weapons of massive destruction. The American and British intelligence services that try to locate them, believe that the régime of Sadam transfers them from a place to another to avoid being detected by the inspectors of the UN, as it indicates the newspaper \' The Independent\'.
These crafts, of between 35.000 and 40.000 tons each one, would have been navigating from all over the world for the oceans along the last three months, but they would maintain out their radio from the beginning, in a clear violation of the international marine laws, to avoid to be detected.

Btw what good would they do on the ships if UK/US launch a surprise attack?
I don’t think they would have enough time to go back to Iraq (since the war could be over within a few days)..
By the way, the US has a bunch of Carriers in the Gulf?
If the war breaks out they could just launch a blockade so no ships could enter Iraqi waters.

This information would seem to be logical since the best way to get rid of any evidence would be to sink it in the ocean. That would give Saddam time to prepare what futile efforts he might have in fighting against us as we investigate the sunken ships.

A word about “clutching at straws”.
It’s a wonder that Bush is even going thru all the logistics before prying open a can of whoop a** on Saddam and shoving a few bombs up his rear. I give the US and the UN credit for at least trying to go about this in a legal manner according to the rules of war…whatever they are.
If it were me I would have dispensed with the investigations after I found out he was in support of the terrorism.
I will expect the criticisms to fly now…:rolleyes:

if Bush and Blair want to make a case.. then why don\'t they use Believable evidence.
this ship\'s-o-death story is purely Laughable because for it to be true they would of had to of evadedthe US & UK pressence in the Gulf.

The fault of our own in the Twin Towers being attacked on September 11th was underestimating how far they (any enemy of the USA) would go to bring pain upon us. Bush and Blair will more than likely investigate any alternative to prevent this nut case from obtaining any such weaponry. Besides, after all the terror he has brought into this world and the support he gives the terrorists he deserves to be disposed of. How we do that is up to our government, not me.

That and Creating these monsters
Either through policy or through the view that it was in the intrest at the time (Saddm/ Bin Laden).
Remember Mr Rundsfeld equiped Saddam with Weapons Grade Anthrax in the Belief that he would only use it in the Iran/ Iraq war (which Saddam started).

Isn\'t it funny how they bad mouth Bush when in actuality, Saddam is much worse. He\'s killing people, terrorizing them and does things that are unthinkable. But Bush is the bad guy? Give me a break.

I am so glad that people in the states don\'t have such a whacked view as the brits. Last pole I saw 68% of Americans are for this action. It\'s just the whacked minority that gets the press. Mind boggling for me to believe people actually believe that this guy has nothing and are willing to risk their lives to say that he doesn\'t have anything. Absolutely whacked to me.
And how hard is it to hide 15-20 tons of material on 3 ships?
That is not a whole lot of material on each ship. Could easily go undetected. Especially if it was placed on ship in whacked countries like Jordan and Syria.

Its not just bing up past indiscretions just for the hell of it, its because if we continue to keep this policy of Arming countrys despite what they would do with it , then there will never be a solution to this.
Example
After the Fall of Saddam and the North Korea issue being resolved, what is the chances of the Arm\'s Industry getting yet another white wash.
Mr Runsfeld will prob get something ironic like having a Hospital ward named after him.
Mark my Words if there is a chance of selling arms to a country only to have them developing into a rouge state... the likes of Mr Rundsfeld will be their rubbing their hands at the though of all the $$$ they will make.
Lets face it the down fall of Saddam is nothing without the Down Fall of the Person and Persons(s) responcible with equiping him !

I agree Vid. Friggin’ Brits and the likes of them over in the eastern side of the world need to get a life and realize that it is by our good graces that they are even still around. They don’t have any clue how good they got it over there. I wonder do you suppose they’re still pissed off about that whole revolutionary war thing? I know it’s a stretch but hey, I can’t figure out any other reason for them to hate us so badly. Maybe it’s because we have prettier teeth…:crap:
