These nukes probably won\'t make a big blast. I\'m sure they will be the kind they launch out of tanks. America also has clean nukes (antipersonel) which leave almost no radiation.

The US also has the fuel-air bomb.  It\'s like a nuke, but no radiation and it only affects a 1 mile radius.

Fuel Bomb or The Daisy Cutter

It dose exactly what it says on the tin..

The Fuel Bomb is dropped from either cargo or larger plane and is parachuted towards a target.

As soon as it reaches a set attitude, the bomb release liquid vapour fuel, which it then ignites once, a suitable air concentration level is achieved.

The result is that air is sucked inward, which further fuels the “fire Ball” this expands outward to around a mile.

Incinerating anything that gets in its way
&
Suffocating troops in armour or bunkers remember the  air being sucked in prior to the explosion

here is a link to a flash info page on the weapon

Do you mean Hydrogen Bombs?

US could also make neutron bomb if they wanted, those are many times worse than any conventional nuclear bomb

smaller nuclear weapons? I like to see them make it the sie of a fountain pen. 1 click to activiate it, 2 to disarm it :D . Then again it would such if it went off while you had it in your pants   even worse if it started to leak radioactive ink all over your pants, that would truly suck :burn:

Looks pretty cool.  Anything it takes to destroy the bunkers of chemical weapons I am all for.

Kind of odd you are more worried about the small nukes than the stockpiles of chemical and biological weapons they are to be used against.

What\'s even better is the plans will end up getting sold on the black market. Ohh lets all help the terrorists use new weapons.

Smart idea, Invent a mass weapon of destruction that\'s small enough to be carted around easily.  Pure genius!!

America doesn\'t allow its nukes on the black market. If they have to get rid of them, they dismantle them.

Uhm, no one *allows* them on the black market, thats why its called the black market. Thats also why crooked ppl are crooked...

Just b/c things arent supposed to happen doesnt mean they dont happen. Frankly Im almost positive some of the US nukes have hit the market, but they wont own up to that though. To much shit would be stirred.

Our government is careful when it comes to nukes. I don\'t think they lost any to the black market yet but I\'m not sure. I know a lot of Russian nukes have.

Careful like when a scandal arises as in the past? All it takes is one dirty agent, politician, and officer in the services.

Your right. I\'m not doubting that a nuke made it to the black market, I\'m just saying that its hard to do that undetected. I mean, you can\'t walk out of the front door with a ten foot nuclear warhead.

The nuke doesn\'t have to make it too the black market. Only the plans do, if someone wanted to build a nuke bad enough and they had the money and power. Then they would probably have the resources to acquire the plans.   Only takes 1 idiot to sell them and 1 idiot to buy them, then idiots to build them.

All of this talk about nukes on the black market and such reminds me of some movie or videogame that I have iether seen or watched before, I just can\'t quite put my finger on it...

Give me a break guys. Has anybody here ever seen a nuke actualy sold on the black market? Oh, of course not, that stuff is held very secret. Perhaps a secret society of nuke collectors. Good grief! Bla, Bla, Bla!!!!!

What, you think countries design there own nukes all the time..

LOL

Example..
http://abcnews.go.com/sections/primetime/2020/ross011108.html
http://www.cnn.com/SPECIALS/2002/cfr/stories/nukes/

Like i said, if there\'s a will. There\'s always a way.  Like it or not, not all governments are perfect. Hell i doubt there\'s even 1.

Even products to build them get sold on the black market like uranium and plutonium etc.

There\'s no evidence such a device has been smuggled into the country. And even if it had, experts say it would be extremely difficult for terrorists to detonate. And a congressman who has been studying the subject for years on the subject say there\'s no doubt that such nuclear suitcases do exist.

It’s sad to say but I can see a career in the media for you Souly.

dood, Saying there\'s no way terrorists can get nukes is just totally stupid.   I\'m not saying if they could use them, but they can get them. Read your own quote. They\'re not saying they don\'t have them, but it would be extremely hard to use them.

Search google under black market nukes. I think you\'ll be surprised.

Dude! You callin’ me stupid?

;)

I don’t want to turn a blind eye towards the efforts of the terrorists. I just have a problem with the media. Everything that you have said comes from the media, not real life experiences. I have seen no terrorist organizations use such weapon and I doubt I ever will. *crosses fingers*

If the terrorists had the audacity and the ability to do what they did on September 11th, I highly doubt they would have not used a nuke if they indeed had one in their possession.

You\'ll probably find that there\'s been terrorists caught trying to enter USA, UK, Australia etc with nukes before, but could you imagine the fear and crazy crap that would go on if the governments told the media. People would go nuts, probably run to there local stores and buy everything. In the governments eyes, the less you know, the better.

I wasn\'t calling you stupid. Just saying it\'s stupid to not think that parts and plans etc wouldn\'t be on the black market.  I wouldn\'t be surprised if you could find the plans on the net somewhere... although some governments probably scan for people searching for crap like that, then come knocking on your door asking why you\'re looking for them ;)
