Title: Photoshop problems
Post by: Titan on February 19, 2003, 05:22:56 PM
I\'m having trouble saving a picture I edited. When I go to save as, the whole damn program freezes up on me and I lose my work. I\'ve tried 4 times already and same thing happens. Any suggestions?

I think I had this problem before with a older version of PS... I recall it having to do with the cache and memeory, it needs to be adjust to a higher percentage then whats its at.. but this was a while ago, so your problem may have something to do the the program just being corrupted, you might need to reinstall the program and if it keeps happening check the cache.. I hope this helps...

Is it a warez version?

If so, delete it asap. That application will almost be guaranteed to be infected.

WAREZ=BAD

Titan try to close all the running programs meanwhile you use Photoshop. Furthermore, check the cache option and increase it a little.

check your DPI and file size.  also, try to save as instead, or save a copy if you have an earlier version of PS.  Keep in mind that PS uses 3X the memory of the file size IE: if your file is 1mb, it needs 3mb of space to allow editing.

That\'s not true. I was able to manage and edit a 19mb picture when only had 32 mb of ram.

My copy was given to me by a freind who let me borrow it and put it on my computer and give it back to him. I did have two windows of IE, aim and was talking to about three people on aim so that might have done it but it also froze when they were closed. I think I\'ll reinstall it.

You cant use multiple copies, It doesnt work, because their is a thing called a KEY CODE. Which is basically the key to work the program...

you have to buy it..
