Just got back from having my wisdom teeth pulled. I\'m posting here because I can\'t talk much until the novocain wears off.
Anyway, anyone who bitches about that procedure really, is a total pussy. That was some easy shit, especially by comparison. I had my two front teeth broken into pieces playing hockey a while back. I got high sticked, and about 2/3 of those teeth ended up in my upper lip. The rebuilding of those teeth...now that was a painful procedure. This was nothing though. I\'m just pissed that I can\'t do anything for a couple days :(

Lol, I just dont like my gay-ass dentist :)...
"Come here huneh, lemme she doesh pearly wwh-whu-whu-whites...."
I swear he is senile... With pointy objects = not good :(
Have you ever had a needle in your cheeck? I swear it is the scariest thing ever. It feels like it goes right through.
-
Dentists don\'t bother me to be honest, which reminds me I have a check up next week.
-
having yer wisdom teeth "pulled" out, and surgically cut out are completely different animals
-
I had mine pulled out through my ass, my dentist has long arms.

lol, is your dentist Dr. Bob? He always calls me "Hunny"
/me shudders at the though of a very friendly old man with sharp objects.
Anyways, yeah I had to have my teeth pulled twice, two molars each time, bottom right and top left.
The first time the damn bastard opened my mouth with a hook, it\'s still kind of sensitive there. The worst part is, he billed us without even telling my parents that he was gonna pull them beforehand.:rpissed:
Thats why we switched to Dr. Bob. *shudder*

That was just plain stupid man.:crap:
I had five wisdom teeth pulled out and yes, it was no fun. I ended up with dry socket and that is painful.

somewhat of an inside joke, so just nevermind.

Ooookay...
It just sounded like sillyness to me man.

I got lucky in the tooth department... I have never had a cavity, all my wisdom teeth are in (and will never have to be removed, unless they get cavities) and all my teeth are atraight. Hey, Juslight has a Snaggle tooth story for everyone (And they arent about his teeth) Come on Juslight. Tell the group about Coatrack :) muhahahahaaa

I\'m aware of that. They thought one of mine would ahve to be cut out, but luckily they were able to pull it :)
-
how long did your whole process take?
-
Less than an hour.
Ugh, I have this horrible taste in my mouth, and I can\'t figure out what it is (insert jokes here). At least the novocain has worn off.
-
I had 3 of them out at a time, it wasn\'t so bad during, it just had major aches around the area and up to my head after the numbness died down for a few hours.
I still have one more to be yanked. :(
-
Well, it\'s 7 hours later now, and I have yet to feel any pain. Guess I\'m just lucky.
-
Novicane really doesn\'t work all that well for me. I was getting my teeth drilled. On one side, they shot me with a whole lot of novicane and I still felt it. When they were pulling out my teeth, I felt it. Its really weird. Maybe its the way they put it in thats wrong. Anyway, I\'m taking the anesthesia when I get my wisdom teeth removed (which isn\'t too far alway :crap: )
-
Sucks if novicane doesn\'t work, cause then it\'ll hurt like a byatch!
-
And it did. They shot me up a couple of times when I told them I felt it.
-
well its that or they freeze your mouth with liquid nitrogen... but that might be a little uncomfortable...
-
How about laughing gas?
-
NOS!!!!!
Anyway, if it hurts, you\'re supposed to tell them! haha.
-
I had all 4 taken out at once. The bleeding would not stop for 12 hours. It was uncomfortable and the gums were in pain. The dentist really did a hamburger job on my back gums.

Nope, I won\'t even touch that one.

Some openings are just too easy, to the point where it isn\'t even worth it anymore, eh?
You really want a good one...combine with that the fact that I\'m not allowed to suck or spit for the next few days :)
