-
Man, I watched that guy\'s show so much. Its a shame he died.
-
SUN OF A BITCH!
I\'m thuroughly sadened

captain kangaroo\'s death was more stunning, but you younger guys would have no idea who that is

man, my mom tried to get me to watch captain kangeroo all the time for some reason... i dunno what she had about that show but the captain himself kinda creeped me out.
i mean... look at that guy.

Neither Mr. Rogers, nor Captain Kangaroo\'s passing bummed me out very much. I was always disappointed by both dudes because they seemed to dumb down their shows for the youngest viewers. I think I was always ahead of my time in appreciating more adult comedy.
I was most saddened when Wallace & Ladmo died (at different times). But then any of you who are too young, or not from Phoenix, AZ might not know anything about how great their show was.

The Wallace & Ladmo Show ran 35 years in Arizona, and I grew up with it back in the 70\'s. :D

what a tragedy...
I grew up w/ that guy!
-
I would watch that show, although I hate to admit it :D jk
He will be missed.
-
that sucks..my mom told me it this morning. used to watch him every time i got home from pre-school, then fall asleep near the end. The stuff he showed was awesome, like making crayons and M&M\'s.
-
Wow!!!, I never realised that there were so many people in the world that I didn\'t have the first clue about.
-
Anyone know what he died of? My guess is natural causes because that guy was getting REAL old.
-
does anyone remember the "uncle bobby show" or "the friendly giant" or "mr dressup"?
I grew up watching that on canadian TV, \'cos it came in better than the buffalo stations where we lived.
BTW RIP mr rogers.
-
He died up stomach cancer.
What a shame. I think I used to watch he show all the time when I was younger.
-
Most of the younger generations, such as myself grew up watching Mr.Rogers and I have to admire him for how long he kept that show goin\' and fresh.
