Post by: Tyrant on February 28, 2003, 06:36:11 AM
i really need to find some site from which i can download this software "borland C++ builder 5" i tried looking everywhere but i still havent found anything.

i was supposed to be able to install the trail version from the cd which i got when i bought the book, but when i tried to install it, it tells me to register, so i do.
And after all that hastle of regstering and barage of questions that had to be answered, i get a regestrition key which does not f\'ing work .
so if anyone can help i\'d greatly appreciate it.

Try this:

s/n: 111-111-1111 Key: 4eb1-2301 After typing serial and key completely, you MUST delete #1s from the field Auth Key so it becomes 4eb 230

mmmmmm...

U know, if all ur after is a basic IDE, Dev-C++ 4 (http://www.bloodshed.net/dev/devcpp.html) from Bloodshed is fine. (the Beta versions aren\'t ready yet, that\'s why they\'re called Beta versions!) It doesn\'t have any WYSIWYG GUI tools though. I\'ve got MS VisualC++ 6, but I use Dev is prettey much all I need; which is why I use it way, way more often.

Oh fROM a BeWK!?#@ I guess u\'ll be learning windows stuff then. :p Sifn\'t start with DOS stuff!
