Title: cleaning dust off ps2

What is a good way to clean the insides of the PS2 it stopped competly reading anything and I looked inside the CD tray and it is VERY dusty im positive thats the problem how to clean?

if u dont want to open up yer ps2 just get yer self an air can u can find them at any computer store.

I did it the old fashioned way and after finding out which screws need to come out its very easy.

The PS2 is pretty much 2 rectangles stuck together: a bigger and smaller one.  Turn it over and remove the screws from the bigger rectangle to take off the top.  Now just focus on the small screws on the DVD-ROM.  Take the DVD cover off, get a moist Q-tip wipe the dust off, then dry with the other side.  Should work just like new now.

pc duster compressed air. get it at wallmart.

Watch out for the ribbon wires. You don\'t want to break them.
