I\'m confussed, it seems to me that everyone here believes that LCD units are better than the High end CRT???
While I too admire the beauty that LCD provieds, one being PERFECT Geometry, I still have yet to see one that rivials High end CAD CRT monitors. The Best LCD that I have seen is the sharp\'s top gun model, which has always set the standard for LCD. This year it seems samsung is comming strong, as they have allways made quality monitors (heck I own the 900NF Cad monitor)
Anyhow I\'ll have to wait on the LCD band wagaon untill prices drop further, and quality improves even more.
PS..I really was amazed by Apples 23\'inch widescreen LCD have any of you guys seem it yet, pretty sweet.

At work we have the big Apple Cinema displays. I would say we have about 10-15 of them. Frickin\' gorgeous....

the only thing is my Vid-card doesnt think it is a Flat panel, it thinks it is ia crt (I used the CRT->TFT Waggle (adapter)) maybe if I uninstall the vid drivers and re-install........

LCDs are awesome for most day-to-day stuff.... Nice for certain dual-monitor stuff too, but when I bought my dream machine, I spent 800 bucks getting a top-of-the-line 19\' CRT, and I think that\'s the way to go (a 100 hz refresh at 1280x1024 is sweet baby).
On the other hand, gaming with 3 flat panels rigged to almost 180 is pretty sweet.
