LOL what is that in the US version only ;)
anyhoo they got Jean Reno (2nd Fav Actor..After Chris Walken) to provide the Voice and Character of Jacque Bran.
Also did i see Jacque Bran use a P90 to fend of the Demons in the Movie...
Me VERY excited :D.

Hmmm, it\'s become a beat-em-up?
-

Waitaminute ooseven..
Let me get this straight.
Controlling your character like a "tank" in Resident Evil = bad
but
Controlling you character like a "tank" in Onimusha = good?

I knew Samosuke would probably be back for three, even though the hidden teaser trailer clearly showed a female (The one in Onimusha 2). There was debate if it was a female or Samonsuke and I still think it was a female..but anyways.
Why does that frenchman look a lot like Jean Reno? I understand he is doin\' the voice acting, but he doesn\'t need to be an actual clone of the person.
Err..
It\'s all good, as long as there is no "golden evil statue" in the game.
GAH!
On second thought, after checking the site out..I got complaints.
(1) Notice anything fimiliar? You should! Some of the same enivorments from Onimusha 1 and 2 are being used again, \'cept in 3D this time. Woopie! I don\'t want to revisit the same area\'s, yet AGAIN.
(2) The new character looks to focus on gunplay and that just doesn\'t fit in with Onimusha.. Boring!
(3) This is suppose to be the final Onimusha game . I would hope that it would tie up some loose ends, but it looks like it may just create more ala RE0.
Not too excited..not in the least.

well
[list=1]
- it could be that they used some old locations in Oni 1 & 2 to cobble together the promo movie...not a unkown trick because Square did a similar trick when they first revealed Final Fantasy XI (they used locations from FF 7 to 9)
- From the movie we can see Reno\'s character armed with a sword and from the looks of things he\'s an Oni warrior. The gun stage looks (the P90 fire\'n) looks like it takes place at the start of the initial Attack on Paris because later in the movie we can see him standing by defending his indured buddy.
- Final game... yes and no from the looks of things they want to tie up the lose ends from the first 2 before moving on... whos to say were it will go after that.

The Onimusha series was started as a trilogy and Capcom have always maintained that after number three the series would end.
As for the locations. I would hope that you are right, but with the fact that Onimusha 2 used the same enivorments, I highly doubt this is just a promo movie. I get the distinct feeling that we will once again revisit old area\'s, with new doors to unlock. It\'s a cheap trick, one that is being used more and more by Capcom as of late.
Don\'t get me wrong, I\'m hopeful but I get the distinct feeling that Onimusha 3 is goin\' to be to a let down, just as DMC2 was.
