Title: What to do? My Ps2 wont read any of my DVD\'s

I know there have been questions like this all ove rhte boards before but now it has happened to me and i need some help. Is there anything i can do to fix it or should i call sony.   And if anyone has the sony help line for the usa can you please post it.

any help is greatly apreciated.

Are you talking about DVD films, or DVD games, or both?

my ps2 stopped playing dvds once, a well placed hit fixed that problem (seriously), but i wouldnt suggest u do it.

instead get a lens cleaner and use it, also it would be wise to use a can of compressed air to clean the insides of the ps2.

if all this fails call up sony. but if yer planning to this, i hope you haven\'t opened up yer ps2 as it voids yer warranty also  sony wont even touch yer system if u do it.

Open it up, and clean the lens.

it plays all of my games fine cept tony hawk 3. None of my DVD films work. I havent opened it up and i really dont plan to do so. i already used the compressed air and it still doesnt work. I will try the lense cleaner though. If all else fails im afraid ill have to call sony.:(  can anyone give me the phone number for thier USA help line?

Try a DVD-Lens\' cleaner? That may be a good bet also.

I believe its 1-800-345-SONY. You could also go to their website and check there for the number.

Thanks titan i will definatly give them a call after i try using the DVD lense cleaner.
