The war is grinding on my nerves and the recent news is very sad so I need a diversion. Lets talk cars. Here are some more pics of project Mustang. Pulleys go in this week and the following Wed. I head to the track.
Thank god the spring is here!:bounce:

man those pics are like crack.
more, more,......... post more.
btw how much did it cost you to put in that intake in the hood.
mustangs pwn, i love the new svt cobra\'s.
-
Thanks Tyrant!
The Shaker kit cost $795.00 plus painting the appliqué.
I love the new Cobra as well. I wish I had the bucks to buy one. To tell you the truth, I go nuts every time I find a scratch on this car, if I had a new Cobra my heart would not be able to take it.

Looks nice. I\'m just not into mustangs. You putting underdrive pullies on it?
-
Thanks!
Yeah, underdrive pulleys go in this week. Should help my quarter mile time. I must get into the 13\'s this summer.

Looks cool man. How does that work? Did you replace the hood, or did you cut a hole in the stock hood? Any concerns about hydrolock, or is there some mechanism for preventing that?

I cut a hole in the hood. It took a lot of courage to see that jigsaw cut a hole in a perfectly good hood but it was worth it.

That is a concern. There are drain tubes all along the system. This system has been out for a while now and I have heard of no problems with water getting into the system. I am trying to think of a way to block the ram air on a rainy day for added assurance.
Thanks!

RICE!!!
-
I thought rice was when you put "performance stickers", fake badges, and retarded/non functional/expensive body kits on your car.
-
Rice is such a loose term nowadays and everyone wants to yell it at anything.
Originally..rice was stickers of products you didnt have installed. The appearance of being fast when its slow as shit. etc..etc..now rice is anything by anyones terms. :)
As for topic..lookin good with the hood ace..strap a vortech on that bish!!!
-
See guys, rice is cool now.

I\'ve thought about it. I\'m trying to resist the temptation. My bank account needs a breather.
