Just curious if anyone is giving Clocktower 3 a chance. I picked it up lastnight and I have to say that it is one of the more intense survival horror games I have played.
Take a character like Nemesis - one who can\'t be killed..Constantly stalking your character..jumping out when you least expect it...And then add the fact your character, is just a 15 year old girl who can\'t fight back. Your only option is to run and try to find places to hide..It\'s pretty intense so far.
Anyone else pick it up?

hhhmmm... ive been considering it, but if you cant fight back and you can only run, doesnt that make it kind of repetitive? Plus they cant make it too hard because there arent any other factors to help you defend against the monster? Or is it all about the terrain? I dont know

I will be. I was a big CT1 fan..didnt care for 2 much..probably b/c I couldnt progress ;)..but 3 looks to be great!!
Update me when you get some playing time.

The game is short. I am three hours in it and at the next to last boss.
As for being repetive - the puzzles are, even if they are easy....You can throw holy water on your attacker to slow them down and at the boss battle you can actually fight back. Other than that, it is all about tryin\' to maintain your characters sanity.
And yes they can make it hard. I spent awhile on one level, just because my attacker was non-stop. I would go everywhere..hide abit..come back out..walk around and boom, he would appear. It was intense, that\'s for sure.

I remember playing clocktower 1 way back, it was IMHO one of the silliest games ever, when that scissor dude would attack you, he\'d search the entire room, eventually stop at the place you were hiding, and then walks away.
it just didn\'t make sense to me (maybe it\'s just me though)
