But one thing\'s for sure, I won\'t give up my Car and Driver :) The only thing that I\'m sure is false is that Chirac is secretly giving Iraq weapons. If anyone can prove its true, please post it.

by the way , Canada are not helping in Irak but we have boats around and we are covering in middle east and Afganistan ! Actualy i was listening to the news and we are actualy helping more the US by doing that then most country\'s that wanted the invasion and that they don\'t help at all ! ( the 42 country list of allies in Irak subject ) Example :Spain wich have no Soldiers in middle east and Canada does ( it was also an US politicien that said the we were indirectly helping

Canada just said that we would not get involved without the UN approval and now USA hates us bad ... ah well

We helped in WW1(I think) and were a big ****ing help in WW2. Not to mention our support for the war on terrorism in Afghanastan with troops there(infact we still have atleast 3000 troops there).

Anyways, let\'s leave Canada out of this. We are not America junior and don\'t autimatically do whatever the US does. Canada has stated that they would not go into war without UN support but would help rebuild Iraq. Personally, I think that\'s ****ing ingenius. Canada and multi-culturism are pratically one. To turn our backs on the international community would be mad. We get a vast amount of contributing immagrants every year. Also, to completely turn our backs to the US wouldn\'t be a wise choice either but we have not done that yet.

In conclusion, don\'t blame Canada for not being involved with the war, blame the US for miserably failing at displomacy.

Exactly what Im pointing out. I dont really think Saddam has finished weapons of mass destruction. But maybe some in the making that should be stopped.

But I find ti ironic, unless someone can explain this better. How many weapons of mass destruction do we have? A SHIT LOAD. So we tell someone we cant even try to make them? Its a bit ironic, and hopefully Bush sees this. And rid of the nuclear weapons..

What French person isn\'t against the war? Either French or French Canadian? Also I haven\'t been the only one to single out him for being French Canadian - just look at the responses to some of his posts.

As far as the inferiority complex, it seems like most Canadians do have one when it comes to the US. I understand Canada attempts to make a clear distinction between themselves and the US and I can\'t disagree with that, but it does become a bit fanatical at times where there is a slight bitterness towards the US and it is almost as if Canada wishes it were like Australia and didn\'t have to share any borders.

Like I said, I have nothing against Canada, well maybe I do against Quebec, but all in all, its quite a nice country and I enjoy going up there whenever I get a chance to.

On a lighter note, you all do have some funny TV up there. While watching NHL Center Ice on DirecTV we get the Canadian games and they don\'t edit the commercials so we get to see ads for upcoming shows. It is like the US without any actors I recognize ;) sort of an alternate universe. I swear I want to eat at Tim Hortons - that chili in a bread bowl drives my wife crazy, she is dying to try it. ;)

Why quebec ? and it is true tough that french Canadien are extremely anti-war compared to the rest of canada .
