let me tell you, this game is everything I expected it to be, and more.  The gameplay is nothing new, it picks up right where it left off.  for those of you angry about the C-stick in the remakes will be happy to know thats been done away with.  The C-stick now controls the camera.  Let me say this you will be wowed, and then you\'ll play, and then you\'ll be wowed again.

I\'m debating if I need to shell out the money for it or not.I may call around in abit, and if any place near has it , I\'ll pick it up. If not, I doubt I go out of my way for it.

I got it yesterday and am about 3 hours into it. I am basically a virgin to 3D zeldas, so I can\'t compare, but this game totally kicks ass. The only thing I can complain about was that there was no voices when they spoke, which is pretty lame for this generation.

I wish I could get into this game but I have never played any Zelda titles I have heard so much about. I tried it at the store I work in and it seems cool but I just cant seem to get by the look of it and I dont have the background story. In time I might give it another chance.

Any other good games coming out for the GC? Since I have had mine I have not really used it the way I want to. I hear there is a new action game coming out for it however I cant remember the name. But it looks great.

I wish they would put out another Rouge Squadron.(second best SW game of all time) I want to use this machine badly. I will never sell it I keep all my systems. That would be silly and a waste of money. I am sure something will come out for it that I really love. Its nice to have them all.

Voices in Zelda? What kind of dumb idea is that?!?! No one can replicate the way the people in Hyrule are suppose to speak. And do you really want someone to be the voice of Link? I sure don\'t! The text based talking system is simple and effective for a game like Zelda.

As for Jigg\'s statement on not being able to get into how it looks. Well, wait until you meet the first boss, or when you are swinging over tree\'s and what not. This game is simply amazing in motion.

One thing you will notice is that the sounds are all reminicent of OoT/MM, however they are redone and sound much better.  Yes there are no voices, but why would you want to, half of them speak a different language anyway.  You\'ll get the occassional "HEY!" but not much else.  That doesn\'t take away from the brilliance of the game though...

one last thing...

The Wind Waker is no match to an Ocarina, the thing sounds terrible.  I dunno, thats just my opinion.

I got it, it\'s basically what I expected. Another AAA+ Nintendo offering that will get a lot of praise, but will have a lot of unfair critics.. most of them pissed off that Nintendo didn\'t totally overhaul the gameplay*. :)

* to make the game innovative *cough* sequel *cough*

My EBGames.com Fed Ex delivery arrived Tuesday morning.  I ripped into it first thing after getting home from work, ditto yesterday.  Ditto today.

The game is, to put it bluntly, frickin brilliant.  I just finished acquiring the third pearl, doing the dungeon just after that, and, um... revisiting an old haunt to acquire a truly rocking piece of equipment.

That sequence, which I will not describe in greater detail due to spoilers, is probably my favorite gaming moment right about now.

My favorite part so far (I\'m about a half hour behind mejilan) is how the story relates to Ocarina.  If you\'ve played through Ocarina of Time, there really is a whole other level of depth to the storyline that I didn\'t expect.

At first I was a little put off by the slow town environments.  What I mean by that is how it takes a long time to see everything, yet nothing really seems to happen, at least in the first town.  But I only had that feeling once.  I\'m into the storyline and sacrificing valuable freetime for the game more often than I should be! ;]

I finally got my copy. I watched "Capcom" play his until he was finished and I still have the urge to go through this game. I am simply amazed by it.

I officially put the game to bed today.  The game progresses nicely, right up to the very end.  I will say that I was very pleased with it, and like any good game, it leaves me wishing there was just one more level.

Of course, there\'s always starting over from scratch, but going through a learning curve is never any fun when you already know what the game is trying to teach you.  I can\'t usually sit through a Zelda game more than once...

The game was great, but I agree with Eiksirf another dungeon or 2 would not have hurt any.

As a side note this is the first zelda game I can remember that I did not purchase any magic or things of that sort. Heck I did not even bother with most of the sidequests. Not sure if I am just getting older, or if the sidequests were not all that.

I watched Capcom beat it, but have yet to do so myself. I\'ve been wrapped up in Batman: Dark Tommorw and I promised myself that if when I finish Batman, I\'ll go on and wrap up ClockTower 3.

This puzzle has been pissing me off.

At shark island you need to hit all 4 switches. One you use the heavy shoes on, one you boomerang at, one you hit with the mallet, and the last one you stand on. I can\'t do it all in time, HELP ME

Got mine 2 days ago... and have played 2 full days. Superb game, SUPERB! But it\'s... well... simple. I\'m not sure if I\'ve grown numb of these things, but all the temples feel too easy. Pretty much all the puzzles concentrate in a room or two, and there\'s none of that super fancy feeling of "gettin\' the big picture" as in some OoT or MM temples.

Maybe Master Quest will make up for this...

But the graphics, music, playability, everything is just spot on. Surround sound also adds to the experience nicely; sailing the stormy seas and hearing thunder strike right behind you... moody :)

I beat it last week.

Great game, but not the best Zelda game IMO. Prolly no.3 behind LTTP and OOT.

I have the choice of Zelda, Dark Age of Camelot, 1942, and Metroid Prime.

I think I\'m going with DAOC.
