Title: Video to audio...
Post by: (e) on March 25, 2003, 01:12:44 PM
One of my drum solo videos is in .avi format, but I want to get it into .mp3. Anyway to do this?

Can anyone do this? Wanting to teach me how? Programs? Or is it even possible?

If you can help me PM, or post it in here. PM prefered, because its just easier, I dont visit this forum much.

Find goldwave program. That will extract the audio in Wav/Mp3 format, or extract in Wav and recode to mp3 with cdex.

Goldwave should allow u to rip the sound no problems.

It works!

Some of the quality went down, because I just saved it as .wav but later on I would like to get it into .mp3.

It says i dont have the correct encoder. Help with this too souly?

Thanks a shitload man. This is really nice of you.
Wont be forgotten.

Install a codec pack.

Here\'s a good one Nimo\'s codec pack (http://nimo.titanesk.com/modules/news/)

You\'re probably missing the Mp3lame codec.

As for Wav being lower quality. Normally wav files are unaltered from there source. Mp3 if anything would be lower quality then the orignal.  Depending on how u encode it. :)

I used that program, it works great.  Perfect transitions.
