Ive seen this game before at Amazon, but I cant find it anywhere else, locally that is. It says its out, but Its impossible. Is it import only? BTW; ps2 version
Im really curious considering, Ive been going on a 2d fighting game spree.
Someone help me, am I able to find it locally? or must I buy it online?

It\'s in stock everywhere where I live. It\'s odd you are having problems finding it.

The game is about as common as broken Internet links. However, the game is just fine and emulates the arcade gameplay perfectly, but the flaws are with the actual game rather than the port for the most part. The music is horrid. The sprite work needs improvement. The loading times are a bit longer than the Dreamcast version. The music is painfully bad, but I had to point it out again because it really is that bad. If you can\'t get the Dreamcast version, then the PS2 version is your last resort.
As for 2D fighters, Guilty Gear X2 on the PS2 is a sure bet with capcom vs snk 2 on the xbox if you have live support or on the ps2 since the game isn\'t too bad. Street Fighter III Third Strike on the Dreamcast is perfect. Try that one out if you have a DC, it\'s worth it.

I have a dreamcast but I cant located any controllers! I dont have a single one :(
Guilty Gear X2 looks promising, I have played the first but didnt nearly like it as much as the VS. titles. Especially those one hit combos.

GGX2 is a really solid fighter, BUT... can get very complex and frustrating (esp. Mission mode). Off the top of my head, there\'s like four or five different manuevers you can use to link attacks for combos.. and strong combos require that you use more than one of them. It\'s a worthwhile game, even if for the single player, but has a completely different feel and tone compared to teh Vs. series.
And re: the music in MvC2... I just turn it off and play a ripped copy of the GGX2 soundtrack :) If I hear the "I\'m Gonna Take You For A Ride" carp one more time I\'m gonna go nuts.
BTW, my copy of MvC2 is for the X-Box, but the game is identical to the PS2 and DC versions.
