Title: Rumsfeld and Hussein??? (pic)
Post by: luckee on April 01, 2003, 05:19:57 PM: ANyone know anything behind this? I found it in the sig of a member on another board.

I\'m guessing by the looks of each that the picture must have been taken in the 80\'s either before or after the Iran/Iraq war.

ANyone have more info about it? Like where they were or the purpose of the meeting.

I blew it up and there is an awful lot of bluring around rumsfeld\'s head that isn\'t in other parts of the picture.

But I think it\'s legit because you can see the shadows, etc. Me don\'t know. Maybe it\'s when we gave them all of their chemical weapons and long range nukes.

Saddam got to power through bloodshed and the total disreagrd for human life.

remember he was up to no good long before he ever got involved in the fight for Iraqi leadership.

so this whole concept of Mr Rumsfeld selling him Antrax to hold of Iran as a Good thing is CLEARLY NOT !

The way I see it, the U.S. leaders are looking at the Iraq situation as helping mankind. To them it\'s like seeing someone in need of help and wanting to do the right thing. If it were about oil, we\'d just take it. What would fighting this war be for if we wanted it, "ok we helped you guys out, NOW GIVES US YOUR OIL."

So why did they provide weapons and supplies to 2 different countries fighting against each each during the same war?
