I\'ve had DMC2 a full week now and I\'m pretty impressed although
I completed Dantes game on the default setting (Normal) in
5 hours 8 minutes!I admit I like this game a LOT!but feel that beacuse Shinji Mikami went to Nintendo with Resident Evil, they just thought "**** it, lets just stick to the same formula as DMC but with the long drawn tedious level up weapon thing"
I admit the scenery is very nice and it all fits in well, but sometimes the gameplay can get boring after a few levels.
I still think the moves they can pull off are mindblowing and seeing Dante do a wallrun for the first time like Carrie Ann Moss\' character Trinity in The Matrix was a fantastic feeling, but most of the time you spend a lot of the time jumping just so you don\'t get an axe in the back of your head or have some stupid little monkey thats on fire jump at you with his claws.
I\'m hoping Dante Must Die and Lucia Must Die are harder.
Overall, I really like this game a LOT but sometimes there can be the odd niggle here and there, but I\'m a sucker for the kick ass action and gun and swordplay...
I miss Ifrit and Alastor as well,the new guns are cool, especially the Rocket Launcher,but you all have to admit, the Ifrit gloves were SO cool!

It wasn\'t as impressive as the first one was at the time, but if you like DMC, I\'d say RENT it.

DMC2 is shit and a disgrace to the Capcom gaming stable.

Today is the first day I saw DMC2 in a store...
After DMC, I was positive that this would be the day of the second coming, the day that I\'d thank Capcom for spewing out these lovely games and bow in their general direction. The day, when finally, I\'d get to see if those enemies still want to find things out the hard way... The day that Dante and Ebony and Ivory would rock my world again.
So I grabbed the case, took a quick look, put it back on the shelf, and walked away as if I\'d just taken a quick look at Gumball 3000 for a laff.
Dang.

I didnt like it very much. The story is so close the first DMC I wanted to barf

HOW THE HELL DOES HE GET A MOTORCYCLE IN HELL???
That ending was a discrace to ALL videogames.
I just traded DMC2 in for amplitude. The game has already dropped 10 buck NEW in stores.

Let\'s see.... I won\'t go over and over what I\'ve already said, but MP touched on an interesting point.
What the hell is up with the ending? A motorcyle and one stupid line and the game is over? You mean, I wasted all my precious time for that?!?!?
I never did finish the 2nd Disc as I just do not have the time nor the balls to subject myself to such torture.

I\'ve just completed the second disk and Lucia gets a better and longer ending than Dante!
after the credits you see her in Dantes old demon hunter agency Devil Never Cry,and she flips that coin he gives her up in the air,then walks off.
the last boss is SO ****ing easy!
you can beat him just by jumping and shooting...
The cutscenes are the same as Dantes but with a few extra lines from her, but all she does is cry and moan and bitch about how how she was created by Arius.
I\'m trading it in for Enter The Matrix when that comes out.
