Title: I finally FIXED my PS2!!! LOOK<--

Hey all. I been struggling about the last 3 weeks, getting disk read errors over and over. When it first happened, I really didnt know what to do, except maybe send the system in and have it looked at. But im broke, so that never happened.

Then I found a repair guide, I was able to fix my Playstation 2 in about 25 minutes. If anyone here is having problems with thier game systems, I recommend checking out http://www.imsuchaloser.com . Its well worth it.

My repair guide

1) Open PS2
2) Clean Dust from lense
3) Close PS2

Booyah.

My PS2 is giving me disk read errors on DVD movies only??The games run fine.Could that be dust??

I have some of that compressed air, that works great for cleaning out my PS2.

If we\'re gonna try troubleshooting, how about this:  when it comes to DVD movies the picture cuts in and out about every four seconds.  I\'m thinking defect?

I doubt I\'ll ever take care of it, though, I\'ll probably buy an Xbox remote before I do that.  Damn thing has to be good for something. ;]

I opened mine up to fix my fan, but when I put it back together the tray rattles when it comes out...

mine keeps on spitting out fireballs, and resites versus from the bible, anyone know how to fix this?
