Can anyone explain to me why they would find a whole bunch of antidote?
U.S. troops found thousands of boxes of white powder, nerve agent antidote and Arabic documents on how to engage in chemical warfare at an industrial site south of Baghdad

Oh and what\'s this?

[sarcastic mofo mode]I really wish we would have just left the inspectors in Iraq. They were doing such a kick ass job. [/sarcastic mofo mode]
I wonder what we\'ll find when we actually start looking for chemical weapons.
-
This gung-ho bullshit is now pissing me off, Americans seem to be pissing me off. Nobody said they DEFINATELY didn\'t have chemical weapons, the US method was (is) just shite.
Do you think weapons inpectors would have killed so many of their own side and innocent civillians in the hunt?
And we\'ll have no more of that instantly aggressive posting bollocks either, save it for the arabs, warmongering bloody Yanks.
I can see myself getting banned for this one so I may as well finish by saying that it\'ll take a while before I like America (as a whole) again.

You can give me the rolleyes as much as you see fit, it doesn\'t change how irritating Americans are becoming to the rest of the world.
The American way just won\'t let you see it from any angle other than warped.
-
Green Meanie: Hey calm down.. We dont want you to get banned now, do we? :p
-
Me calm down, I\'m not the stupid bastards craving war and destruction and enjoying it. I\'ve bitten my lip many times since the war started but no more.
Yeah I find military technology interesting but the level of "God Bless America" in these forums makes me want to shit bile and puke my own intestines.

Amen

Thank you.

Nope. I don\'t think the weapons inspectors would kill anyone. Very good point.
Problem is the terrorists who have the ability to get these chemicals have the ability to kill thousands. Better point.
No one will get banned for views in this forum. As long as you don\'t call someone an a-hole or whatever all is well. Everyone can have their own views no matter how crazed they can be.

NO ONE CRAVES WAR!!!!! It\'s just something that had to happen. There was no other way to get this regime out.
-
But voicing an anti-war opinion in this forum is either very much like screaming in space, you\'re bloody knackered by the end but no bugger heard, or an invitation to warmongerers to add you to their axis of evil because of not complete support.
Yes, I am irritated, I\'ve been on a diet of wildlife programs and hardly any news for a couple of days now it\'s got so bad.
-
What a strange world we live in.. I mean you find strange white powder in Iraq and its Weapons of Mass Destruction. Then you call for air strikes and napalm.
But if you find strange white powder on the back seat of an Actor’s or Actresses limo then you call for Johnnie Cochran ;)
-
This is just the beginning of what we, the coalition, are going to find.
When we are victorious then the house of horrors known as Saddam\'s regime will come to light.
One more thing, God Bless America and the coalition who have the nuts to do what\'s right.
Ace

Mr. Green Meanie, your comments work in exactly the same way the other way around. You think Ace, Giga, and I don\'t bang our heads in the wall because you guys think that we want war and don\'t care about innocent civilians dying?
We do care!! But we also care about a militant regime paying people to do suicide missions. We care about a regime who harbors known terrorist and terrorist camps. Not only camps, but factories where they produce deadly nerve agents. Do you really not care that known terrorist groups are making nerve agents? I just don\'t get where this could possibly someone\'s point of view.
And ooseven, funny joke, but obviously there is a difference. ;)
-
Green, we\'re not all like that. Don\'t hate us all, but if you have to, that\'s ok. I\'ll just thank my friendly neighborhood Republican.

Vid, The problem with prowar arguments like this one is that not everyone believes this stuff. War supporters keep repeating this like it\'s self evident, but there\'s been no hard evidence released yet. Atropine is not hard evidence. That stuff could have been left over from the chemical stockpiles Iraq had prior to the first Gulf War.
It could very well be that some or all of these claims are true, but we needed to PROVE IT IRREFUTABLY before we plunged into this war. If we had done that, we wouldn\'t have the entire rest of the world hating us, and we probably would have easily obtained UN approval for the war. Just hearing Bush and Powell tell us "We know he has it. We can\'t tell you how we know, but we know. Trust us." is not good enough. It\'s not persuasive for a cynic like me, and it certainly does not persuade the rest of the planet who already find our culture and national personality somewhat offensive. We could have taken a moral high road in this deal, but instead we chose to be blow off the UN and insult those who have a reasonable opposition to this invasion.
-
i just think the anti-war pussies are upset cause the coalition IS finding fragments of "the smoking gun"
-
So what happens when we do prove they had this chemical agents and such, you really think they would have that anti-dote just to carry around in their back pocket for fun? And besides we all know what the crazy war protesters will all say, btw not all war protesters are crazy, and I don\'t mean it towards everyone of them, being that they will probably drive it in to their heads that we planted the shit so we wouldn\'t look stupid, so either way we won\'t be able to prove for sure, because people like this don\'t want to believe what they don\'t want to, therefore they won\'t even with hard evidence.
-
All the more reason why we should have proven our case BEFORE going to war.
-
fragments of a smoking gun..but no gun to match the bullets mm.....
-
I just don\'t see how we could have proven our case with the way the UN inspectors were working. How is it conceivable that we found antidote and papers outlining chemical warfare in a location the UN just checked? If you say the Iraqis put it there after the UN checked the location then why was it moved? The UN way just wasn\'t working in my humble opinion.
-
When something is found, who will be the first to say it was planted? I know it\'s going to happen.
Ace
-
Well if Clowd isn\'t freaking out unplugging everything and balling his eyes out, he may just be the first.
-
Has it been planted? ;)
-
I won\'t say it. But it wouldn\'t surprise me, Ace.
;)
-
Actually it wouldn\'t surprise me either. If they don\'t find anything then they will be in some serious doo doo. (sorry if I offend with such harsh language)
I really don\'t see much of a chance of them not finding anything with the indicators that they have already found without even looking.
-
so luckee, yer saying that it\'s ok for them to have "ammo" as long as they dont have a "gun"
thats saying, "the ends justify the means"
-
Thats not what I said at all.

I honestly don\'t understand what you\'re so angry about. It\'s so simple, I could slap you in the face with it and you still would be left with those question marks lingering over your head.
- President Bush is responsible for the safety and well-being of the American people.
- Saddam Hussein is a threat to the American people.
- Eliminate Saddam Hussein.
And to even say that Hussein isn\'t a proven threat is being both blind and naive. Civilian casualties are without question the worst products of war, however they are just some of the many sacrifices that must be made for freedom.
This conflict could not be resolved peacefully, and we couldn\'t wait another twelve years of twiddling our thumbs. Yes, no one wants war, but it is a last resort, and it is Hussein\'s own fault that we had to reach this extremity.
-
Oh my God!!!
Vapor said something that makes sense.

OMG, that "Weekend in Baghdad" is funny as hell! Thanks!
I can just see Bush and Blair tearing around in a Humvee with Saddam\'s corpse rolling around the back, while the US Army chases them. Somehow that image comes to mind... :p It would make a great movie, woudn\'t it?
BTW by great, I mean "unbelievably awful."

"Did they really make a Weekend in Baghdad?"

luckee your first and second pictures contradict one another.

whats yer point?
