Title: David Bloom
Post by: videoholic on April 06, 2003, 03:57:06 PM
This guy was great.  I really enjoyed his reports.  He has always been a great journalist.  I remember him from when I use to work at the NBC affiliate in West Palm Beach.  I saw him quite a bit in Miami.  He then went off to network in I think like 1993.

The guy was very good and his stories from on top of the tank were kick ass.  The guy was just down right good.

He\'s not an Arnett or a Geraldo.  He was stand up.

He dies of a pulmonary embolism.  I wonder if he had a history of heart troubles or if something just popped up.

I don\'t get that....

It seems sleeping the way he did in the tank and dehydration could be factors in his death.

I wonder what his camera man is up to now.

I\'m sitting here watching MSNBC and they just did an interview with Ken Kalthoff.  He is in Baghdad right now reporting.  SO funny.  I worked with him for two years doing steak outs and investigative sotries.  Small world.
