I love this guy!!! He has the best interviews. Could you imagine if we really weren\'t in Baghdad right now and it was all trick photography and that really everyone was in Hollywood. That would be incredible.

Information minister: Iraq still controls airport U.S. Central Command dismisses claim
Mohammed Saeed al-Sahaf denies reports that U.S. forces have entered Baghdad.
BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- Casting a vastly different picture than the U.S. military Saturday, Iraqi Information Minister Mohammed Saeed al-Sahaf denied reports that U.S. Army and Marine forces were in the Iraqi capital, saying the Americans were playing tricks.
A U.S. Central Command spokesman said Saturday that U.S. forces had moved into the heart of Baghdad from the south and the southeast, a day after securing the airport, west of the Iraqi capital.
Al-Sahaf denied that report, saying the Republican Guard has control of Saddam International Airport after fighting a fierce battle.
"Today we slaughtered them in the airport. They are out of Saddam International Airport," al-Sahaf said. "The force that was in the airport, this force was destroyed."
Capt. Frank Thorp, spokesman for U.S. Central Command, called the claim "groundless," saying "there is sporadic fighting at the airport."
"We have heard these reports from the minister of information, which are, quite frankly, groundless," he said. "This is the same minister of information who yesterday was saying that coalition forces were approximately 100 kilometers away from the city."
Central Command said U.S. forces secured the airport, about 11 miles [17 kilometers] southwest of the city center, on Friday and renamed it Baghdad International Airport.
Calling them "miserable villains" and "racist mercenaries," al-Sahaf painted a bleak picture of the fate of American troops at the airport.
"Their casualties and bodies are many. Their equipment and vehicles, several were destroyed," he said. "They are still trying to bomb with artillery and [rocket-propelled grenades] to hit the Republican Guard who are controlling Saddam International Airport."
Al-Sahaf said he would take reporters to the airport later in the day, after it was cleaned up.

Yeah, that would also be cool as well. Because that would mean that not only is our military lying to us, but so are the embedded reporters who are there. This could be a really cool conspiracy. I of course don\'t believe that our military tells us everything, but I don\'t think they would blatently lie like that.
You know what would be really nice of our military is to give him a tour of our C-130 that landed their at BIA.

He is by far the biggest comical relief to this whole war. From todays headlines:
"They are sick in their minds. They say they brought 65 tanks into center of city. I say to you this talk is not true. This is part of their sick mind," Mohammed Saeed al-Sahhaf said. "There is no presence of American infidels in the city of Baghdad at all."
He sort of reminds me of Officer Bar Brady (sp) from South Park.

BTW, I think we now have control of the Al Rasheed hotel and the information ministry so I think he may have had one of his last press conferences.
I haven\'t seen that on the net yet though, just heard that on the radio.

I disagree Vid, I think he really believes what he is saying or he knows he is lying, but for the sake of propaganda (and to boost morale) he is doing his job willingly. He is a Baath party member after all and he has as much to lose as every other party member when the regime dies. I find his colorful phrases very entertaining and it makes me wonder who wrote his briefings.

Nationality doesnt matter. Only Skin color does in the racist views of Americans.
So I will tell you yes, I have arabic toned skin, yes I have an Arabic thick mustache, yes I have Arabic hair, black and nice and thick. I am glad I look that way. Because when white people see me they dont see me as American but as "one of them" I am glad. I am glad they dont see me as American. I am thinking about growing out my beard to look show that I am not with them. When I see the U.S. kill those people it hits home to me. Like they killed my family. I know how America suppresses dark people. I can feel for them. A good example is WWII. They didnt put American Germans in camps. But they put American Japanese in camps. Why? Because they looked different. Bush cannot stand that the "dirty dark muslims" can have so much oil and wealth, but he cannot have it. SO just like the Spanish crusaders, he is out to take what is not his, even at the expense of thousands of lives. You have heard talk from me that this war would create hate in many peoples heart for America. Well I will tell you I am one of those persons.

The Baath party killed more than 1000X\'s more innocent civilians that got cought in this war. and that is only in a little over 10 years. What would the next ten years have in store for the civilians?
I can\'t figure out whether these civilians are scared to death or pissed off that they can now live free from an evil dictator.

Also Germans don\'t look different and in this day and age neither do the Japanese. America is made up of many different nationalites so saying everyone in America is white is a farce. To me it sounds like you have an inferiority complex or are just plain paranoid... with your views I would be paranoid too.

Weren\'t you the one whining about racial profiling? Let me clarify, I don\'t look at an Asian American person as not being "American", just as I don\'t look at a black, hispanic or arab as being different when it comes to being American. Looks don\'t mean a thing, but frame of mind does.
For example, my grandfather refused to fight in World War II because he didn\'t want to fight against the "fatherland" and he even wanted to name by father Adolf (you have to remember this was 1939 and no one knew about the Holocaust etc). He took a lot of crap for not serving his country and that was a major factor in my fathers and my choice to serve in the military. Granted, I didn\'t make a career out of it, but my father did and he is a retired Colonel. Was my grandfather "unamerican" at the time? Yes I believe he was. If Clowd is a US citizen then I too consider him unamerican.
Back to the point, this is the 21st century and the US is made up of many races and cultures... even you can\'t deny this. What does an American look like? Good question, they are white, black, asian, arab, etc... It surprises me that you would call me ignorant for pointing out that America is multi cultural.

Well us putting the japanese in camps was wrong of us, but it was done because many people were very suspicous of the Japanese-Americans after the bombing of pearl harbor, similar to suspiciouns of Arab-Americans after 9/11, except we didn\'t put the Arab-Americans in camps, just changed our Intelligence procedures and such...

But the Germans never bombed us, I just think that the Bombing of pearl harbor was seen as more of an actual threat to American soil, and the war agaisnt the Germans was more of a european war, so I don\'t think our govermant thought it was needed to put germans in camps.

OMFG. Read a history book. Some German Americans were put in camps (the ones that just immigrated and such). Thats how American Nazism was born (which evolved into a white supremacy group later on). But the conditions in the camps were pretty good. They had schools, warm homes, it was like a town.

Im sure they were happy to be stuck there with thier food and schools and hospitals.
Other than the fact that after the war they werent given thier property back.
