Title: Michael Jordan back with the Bulls?
Post by: Luke on April 07, 2003, 12:20:05 PM
No shit, it could happen. He has no contract whatsoever with the Whizards after this season.

How cool would it be to have MJ as the Bulls GM?

Well as a Bulls fan I say super-cool.

Although Michael Jordan is a prick.

I don\'t seem in Chicago unless the team has new ownership.

Nah, he plays for them though.

By the way, Kobe > MJ.

MJ does own a piece of the wizards.

unfair comparo vapor...bitchee is young..mj is old. Sad part is..mj often still schools him.

Jordan at same age as kobe..kobe wishes he could keep up.

Jordan would desimate Kobe in both of their haydays.

Luke just curious but why do you think MJ\'s a prick?  Because he cheated on his wife?  I found it pretty admirable for him to donate 100% of his salary with the Wizards to victims of 9/11.

Jerry Krause finally resigned...excellent.  MJ probably wouldn\'t mind coming back to Chicago, at least they have a few good players as opposed to the Wizards...excluding Jordan himself of course.

Nah

I have a feeling he will be retiring for good. Anyway, Kobe is a Jordan wannabe. It\'s not necessarily bad, it\'s just that he shouldn\'t be sucking at it. I hate Shaq the most, though. What\'s up with goaltending hiw own teams shots?

BTW, anyone notice that Kobe always seems to wear retro Jordans nowadays?

THX, growing up as a huge Bulls fan in the Chicago area, you hear things. Mind you none can be proven, but there are many, many stories about Jordan.

As far as him donating his whole salary, while it sounds nice, and was a nice gesture, this dude is a multi-BILLIONARE. I\'m sure he just wrote the check, lit up a cigar and didnt think twice about it.

One of the more famous stories is how his whole marriage is false and set up by his agent to give him a good public image, when in fact all Jordan cares about is gambling and hookers.

Just stories mind you, but I\'ve heard enough of em to start thinking maybe they arent all false.

Also, I can\'t stand his attitude as he\'s gotten older, and his playing has declined some.

A few months ago he went like 4-24 in a game and in the press conference after the game all he talked about was how he\'s trying to "get everyone involved to help the young players grow"

yeah right, I\'m sure he woulda said that if a few more of those shots fell.

P.S. I\'m not even got start on the Kobe vs. Jordan argument. Jordan is the greatest player ever, period.

Kobe has three rings, before Jordan had even one. I have much respect for MJ, but Kobe has everything that MJ had, and then some [Well, MJ didn\'t have Shaq, but he had Luc Longley!].

Maybe its a bit immature to bluntly say Kobe is better than his Airness, but it would be just as immature to dismiss the argument.

Well, I dismissed it.

Kobe is a great player no doubt.

Jordan is THE greatest ever.

He lead a team damn near single handed to six titles in eight years.

Kobe wouldnt even have ONE title if he didnt have the most dominant player in the league to pass to thirty times a game.

I had the same attitude, but alot of my respect for MJ went down the toilet when he returned to the Wizards. That is without question his biggest mistake in his career.

MJ needs to stay gone after this year. It is sad to see him try to do the things he did years ago and fail.
