Title: Virtual On Marz
Post by: Nu on April 11, 2003, 01:51:14 AM
Check this (http://www.e-gameclub.com/user/ac/movie/all_marz.avi) out. It\'s a very long video with some Marz footage. Shows the story mode, versus, and others.

Unfortunately, this game isn\'t going to have Twinsticks. :( Sega\'s trying to make this more of an adventure game with real missions fighting against several different VRs and bosses(Trying to compete with ZOE, maybe?), and they don\'t think Twin Sticks would work well with it. There will be different pre-set controls that you can switch up, including one that will substitute the use of the Twin Sticks somewhat by using the DS2\'s analog sticks. Over 40 different VR variations, guys. That\'s a lot.

I don\'t consider this an official VO sequel, it\'s more of a side-story, a test game for Sega to see how well they\'ll do against Konami\'s ZOE or something. I have high hopes, for I\'m a huge VO fan.

Damn. Uhm, the whole two stick thing being exed is pretty lame. PS2\'s controller is perfect for it too. Well i guess i dont have the codec or something even though ive dled the new Win MP and a slew of good codecs cause the thing doesnt show the video just adio. 57 mins is long as hell. How they did it i dont know but meh. I dont know if they want to compete with ZOE. I mean i love that game but why would sega target the ZOE style genre and its fans? just seems a little wierd. Damn them and taking out the joysticks

looks and sounds pretty weak.  But it might turn out to be an above average game.
