Title: Dungeons and Dragons Skit
Post by: GigaShadow on April 11, 2003, 07:08:48 PM
Um well maybe I should have posted this in the PC forum, but no one goes there so if any mod wants to move it go ahead.

I installed a new HD and was reinstalling some old games I have, but haven\'t played and after installing Summoner I decided to make sure it worked since I am running XP.  I was playing around and watching the credits and hit escape and this hillarious Dungeons and Dragons skit comes up with characters from the game sitting around a table playing D&D.  Its about 4 minutes long and it was so typical of the people you see at Barnes and Noble playing their pen and paper RPG\'s (not that there is anything wrong with that) ;).

After a crappy day, it made me laugh so I thought I would share.  Sorry if this is not in the proper forum and/or its been talked about before.

When did I make this post??? ^^^ I had a few beers that night.  I found a link to the video and it is worth it though 56kers beware!

http://www.rpgamer.com/games/summoner/summoner/summonermov.html

Click on one of the links at the top there is a large version about 29 MB and a quicktime version 16+MB.  If you haven\'t seen it before it is worth it.  I haven\'t laughed so hard in ages.

Oh man D&D is so gay.  It ought to be quite popular on this forum.  Twilight: 2000 or Traveller or Call of Cthulhu kicks ass over D&D every time.  :D

One of my favorite parts is where the DM asks ok what spell do you want to cast and the player replies "I cast... (dramatic pause) Magic Missle".

The whole thing is so funny though and it is sort of true, when I go to Books a Million on Sunday\'s to get a paper I see people like that sitting in the Joe Muggs section (wannabe Starbucks) with all their little action figures saying the exact same stuff.
