Title: the chizz-a changed man...
Post by: CHIZZY on April 17, 2003, 07:46:50 PM: I quit my band two weeks ago...feels weird. It was like breaking up with a girlfriend that you still sorta like, but have no real passion for. My twin brother was in the band. He stopped by today to grab some gear that was at my house. I guess they\'re still playing, but I don\'t know how...it always seemed that they couldn\'t do anything without me initiating it...plus I was the lead guitar.

Anyway, I haven\'t been posting much lately...and mm\'s probably gonna make some comment about there being a journal section, but I had to spew.

so.. has anyone done anything like this?

Then we started fighting and hating each other and broke up.

So yeah, I know the feeling.

P.S. Does this mean we can finally start that Misfits cover band?

actually, I have been spending more time making music on my computer. Apparently, I have a knack for hip-hop... go figure. A local DJ spins my shit when he plays on saturdays at a club uptown. I recently got Reason ( http://www.propellerheads.se ) and an Oxygen 8 usb midi controller ( http://www.midiman.com/products/midiman/oxygen8.php )

I rent a room in the building where I work, and I\'m turning it into my own personal recording studio-slowly...
