Yea I\'ve been going retro lately. I recently hooked up all my systems in my room, and so long as my entertainment center keeps from setting on fire, I\'m free to enjoy even NES and SNES games.
The only sucky thing is my SNES RF adaptor was kind of crummy, so now I lose some picture quality on my tv.
But the last few days I\'ve sifted through my old carts and played some SNES Monopoly and NES Tetris until I realized I\'d pretty much out played the games I do own.
So I bought more. :)
I got Pilotwings for SNES coming in the mail, and hopefully Mike Tyson\'s Punch Out!! (I have the one with Mr. Dream, always wanted both) depending on if I\'m outbid on eBay.
Then I went to the store today and picked up three more NES tapes in Ninja Turtles II, Adventures of Bayou Billy (Beats me, haven\'t tried it yet) and Anticipation.
Anticipation is kind of neat. It\'s a party game/board game from Rare in 1988. The cart says its the first video board game, and theres like eight 20-somethings freaking out over it on the label.
Basically the computer draws shit and the players buzz in and type in what it is. It\'s like pictionary but with a die and different colored cards to earn. Kinda neat. Seeing it was made by Rare was a little unexpected.
Anyone else sharing my sentiment for the old school? Or how about you old farts who still refuse to accept an SNES as being old anything? ;]

I\'ve done the same thing before. I would hit the Funco used bin up and get a bunch of older games. Play them.
Adventures of Billy ...Ugh..Bad..!!!
One thing I\'ve done more times than I can count is go on scavanger hunts for rare / obsecure / or just downright crappy games. I have almost the entire 3DO gaming catalog, a bunch of the Virtual Boy games and more than my fair share of imported Saturn games.

I am ordering a SNES, if luke would reply
TMNT rocks!

Anticipation is a great game...

Didn\'t the original Punch-Out for SNES suck the big one? Yes, yes it did.
I keep going back to um my SNES that\'s hooked up to my TV right now and not my emulators every now and then.

No way, Super Punch-Out was great, and original Punch-Out!! is my favorite game of all time.
I just added Saturday Night Slam Masters to the SNES collection, too. Man, I had a great fondness of this game as a kid. Today, it shows its age, but its still one of the flashiest wrestling games, and even comes at you with a bit of Street Fighter flare. A lot of the wrestlers even resemble Street Fighter guys, with one guy even doing Zangief\'s spinning piledriver.

Both my NES and my SNES are ready to be played at all times, and honestly get about as much use as my Gamecube and PS2. Punch-Out! almost never leaves my NES. Like Eik, that game is one of my favorites ever. I also didn\'t think Super Punch-Out was bad, but it wasn\'t as good as the original. As for my SNES, there are a few games I still just love to play. Mega Man X I just find really fun to pop in and play for some reason. Then there\'s Super Mario RPG, which is possibly my favorite game ever. I\'ve beaten it maybe seven or eight times. Also receiving a good amount of attention is my Sega Genesis for Tecmo Super Bowl :) There are others too, but I still love those sorts of games.

Was anybody ever in to super dodge ball? Man that game was so addictive. :D . Super Mario Bros. 3 Still gets mad play as well as some shooter (flying) games on genesis.
