Heh, it has been a while since I last watched a DVD on my PS2, but I did today. I was watching the Ring, and I noticed that every once in a while it would be unable to read disk. However, it is not the DVD, it is my PS2... would you guys recommend anything for cleaning it? It\'s an old model, since launch, so its *starting* to get old.

hopefully a dvd/cd lense cleaner will hepl, there very cheap, run it through a few times, hopefully it will help

I hope so too. If not, its not THAT big of a deal, I\'ll just go in another room and watch it there.

yea, well my com was starting to not read dvd, it would always go to the browser , then i had to pick it, it fixed it for me

you probably have to raise the power on the DVD laser.

my PS2 will not play any DVD\'s,and mine is a reasonably new(over a year).I pulled it apart and cleaned it but still no DVD\'s so I\'ll probably have to try adjusting the laser next.Let us know how you do after adjusting the laser so I can decide if I\'ll try mine. :)
