all i\'m saying is that the companies should not be blaiming piracy on all their losses.

The article didn\'t say anything about the volume of piracy these individuals were doing. Were they making large quantities of pirate copies for sale, or just collecting for personal use?
Record labels should stop working on prosecuting their own customers, and focus instead on finding a pricing and distribution model that will make piracy less attractive.
