Title: can you say "James Bondy"?
Post by: MPTheory on April 24, 2003, 09:55:23 AM
remember that photo that was posted of the "invisible suit"?  well here is a web site with more on the subject.  There are a few short movies to watch.. It works just like the car on \'die another day\'.

Just so you know, that invisible suit picture was a fake.  It was just a picture of what they EXPECTED the final product to look like.

And isn\'t this just describing a way of making it look as though optical camoflauge is being used in pictures/videos?  i.e.  Just special effects?

Or was that your point?

its not only for video or photos.  It works in realtime. Its just not "invisibility".

Oh yah, I see that.

But it works differently to the car in James Bond

This has an external projector projecting the image of the wall onto him, whereas in James bond, the projectors were under the outer layer of the car.  Projecting the image outwards to the translucent outer surface.

Same principle though, just completely impracticle.  :)
