Post by: Seed_Of_Evil on April 24, 2003, 12:30:05 PM: We\'ve been hearing that the two-disc theatrical release of The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers would hit DVD on August 26th, and today it\'s official.

As with The Fellowship of the Ring, New Line will release two editions. The theatrical cut will arrive on a two-disc set on August 26th for $29.95, while the four-disc Extended Edition will hit on November 18th. There will be separate anamorphic widescreen (2.35:1) and full screen versions, each with Dolby Digital 5.1 EX soundtracks.

They are going to milk so much out of a good book its pathetic. I asked a guy at the theatre if he read the book- he didnt even know it was a book. Shame.
