Title: Favorite X-Men
Post by: theomen on May 02, 2003, 08:49:27 PM: Seeing as the new release of X2 is apon us, might as well start this thread.

When I was a kid I was a cyclops fan, because he was the leader and I liked to boss around my friends (I was also a Leonardo fan, with the TMNT) but now I\'ve changed over to being a fan of the Clawed one, Wolverine. I dig the guy mostly because he has the best story behind him.

His movie appearance was just so kick ass. I don\'t remember the series all to well, but Mystique and Nightcrawler have always been favorites.

My least liked character would have to be Cyclops. I always thought he was annoying, bossy, arrogant...his overall character just didn\'t appeal to me.

Most worthless character would have to go to Jubilee though, always seemed she made more trouble than she did helping out.

before I saw the first x-men movie I was really affraid that no one would be able to do wolverine justice, espesially Jackman, but after watching the movie I was amazed at what a spot on job he did.

Post by: shockwaves on May 03, 2003, 08:12:13 AM: Nightcrawler was always my favorite, even with the religious aspects of the character. I\'m an athiest, so it seems logical that something like that would turn me off to his character, but I actually really like it for some reason.

And let me add in, my second favorite X-men character has to be Bishop.

Look up some classics like Red Raven, Captain America, and Underdog (:laughing:) Those are true superhero\'s.

He is badass in the movie.

What about atom ant and mighty mouse. Aqua man, Iron Man or all the avengers. Hawkeye :). Man, i love super heros

That was part of why I liked him, actually. A lot of people just blindly killed, he actually had some compassion behind him. For example, if touching someone he could teleport away just part of them. He could teleport off their heads but leave their bodies lying there. He didn\'t do this though for moral reasons. Something about having aspects like that to your character is appealing to me.
