Title: PS2 Hard Drive? any news?

I\'ve been hearing and reading a lot recently about the microphone and headset,modem and hard drive and I\'m just wondering if anybody knows if Sony are releasing the Hard Drive  over here soon or ever?

Also, will it be expensive cause I don\'t mind paying around £150 for it as long as it will be useful cause I like the sound of this smart piece of hardware.

I can imagine the caption now "not buy buy a memory card, but BYE BYE memory cards!" lol thats sounds catchy! :D

Catchy in a not so catchy probably won\'t sell many products kind of way.

I had to read it three times before I could figure it out.

But I\'m not so smart...

I think that the HDD is going to be bundled with Final Fantasy 11.  If Sony wants to sell them seperately they need to give people a reason to buy them:

1. Include a web browsing program/email & I.M. (I could care less about it, but people will still buy it  just to surf the net on their ps2.)

2. Free downloadable games, video, music.  Maybe a place to share and see what other people have done with their PS2 Linux developer kits.

3. Downloadable game content for the more popular games.
