No posts needed. If the poll says it\'s better than the first one, it will be a great film.
1 week to show here!

Yes, but there is more putting two and two together in this one. If you don\'t understand the first one, you sure as hell won\'t understand this one.
-
I still haven\'t seen the first one yet!

Youre nuts. lol. Well its hard for me to say. I saw the first one 3 times in the theatre and ive seen reloaded 2 times in 3 days. The magic from the first one i think was greater because everything was just so awesome and it was a first as well. They were one of the first to fully utilize bullet time in a full length motion picture. Plus, for an introduction it wasnt a really slow movie and every single aspect was new and intriguing so i guess the matrix is better but i think that reloaded just adds on that little bit of goodness. Either way i think they are both good movies and i look foreward to seeing revolutions.

matrix > matrix reloaded
reloaded = money trap

Well we cant 100% be sure about that yet. Did you see the credits on that movie? A lot of people were getting paid and im not sure if the craze of the first one is with reloaded. They may and may not but out with the big bills. We will see.

You can\'t say one is better than the other. All three will be more like one big film.

Is bullet time the spinning around thing? If it is, then Wing Commander was the first to utilize that. Anyone else remember that?

Its basicaly the slowing down of the frames and they threw in the spining camera for show. I couldnt give you the exact definition but thats roughly it. And i said "one of the first" to utilize it. And i cant remember what part it was used in WC. Do you remember?

First one Im guessing.
Even though its not the greatest series/movie in the world. It makes you think- and portrays a cliche plot in a new way.

They\'re both the best shit I\'ve seen since The Lion King........

No, that wasn\'t the first. There was a heavy metal video released in the 80\'s that featured an early version of this effect. It was for the song "Midnight Mover" by the band Accept.

and don\'t forget radiohead used the slow time trick for thier street spirit video years ago also
-
My god you freakies... how the hell can you remember those specific details in a videoclip? The poll speaks clearly...

The pace of the first movie was perfect, IMO. Not once did I ever question the importance or revelance of a scene.
Matrix Reloaded:
From the very first scene I had already gotten a little bored...then the next 45 mintues were a drag. What the hell was the purpose of showing every damn angle of the ship when flying in to Zion? Then they showed the entire landing sequence, then the rear hatch opening...then the stupid rave in the cave...Neo\'s fight in that dojo type setting, the woman eating the cake...I could go on and on. It just seemed like they were showing off way too much.
Bah, I wasn\'t disappointed but I wasn\'t impressed either. The fight scenes were no doubt fun to watch, too bad the rest of the movie was a drag.
I\'m still interested to see how this all turns out, but I\'ve lowered my expecations quite a bit for Revolutions.

I\'ve grown to apperciate the first Matrix - not a huge fan, but it\'s an okay film, espically the second half . As for Reloaded - well, I downright hated it, \'cept for Neo flyin\' around. That was pretty damn cool.
