Title: Question for you computer "smarties"
Post by: Mr. Kennedy on May 18, 2003, 06:43:21 PM
I\'ve downloaded a file, it\'s really weird, I\'ve never seen this kind before.  Its a .sub or .SUB file, and I don\'t have a program that will run it or unzip it.  Who knows what these files are and how do I use them?

.Sub files are part of Blindread. It\'s burning software.. You may have a image there.

Or if it\'s been split up, that can be the subchannel, used sometimes for sound, or the copyprotection part of games (since older burners/readers couldn\'t makes subtracks properly).

If it came with a .ccd file, and .img file, it\'s cloneCD ready to burn.

You can burn it, or use souly\'s proggy to read it.

The Blindread program burns it too..
Blindread has Blindwrite as part of the program. :)
