Normally I would be like, yeah, whatever. But it\'s kind of weird.
A couple weeks ago we shot a ring and pinion show where we built up a 12 bolt rear end. We had Greg Moser on as a guest. So for two weeks I edit a show watching Greg Moser. We finish the show today and now he has passed. Very strange feeling.
Now I have to cut 7 seconds out of the show somewhere to put a dedication slate at the end of it.
Greg Moser for those of you who don\'t know is a huge rear end builder for the NHRA. Yeah, I don\'t care about the NHRA either, but that\'s who he is.

National Homosexual Rifle Association?
-
No! Not Greg Moser!
Who\'s Greg Moser? Car guy? NHRA? (I hate acronyms for this reason)
It\'s too bad. We can always use more really good greasemonkeys around. :crap:

He\'s a major player in the automototive aftermarket. He builds real nice rear ends for drag cars.
The point wasn\'t really who he was, but how freaky it is to be editing a show looking at him on screen for 2 weeks and to know that he is dead and I haven\'t even finished editing the thing yet.
-
You can mention your condolences, or dedicate the show to him.

National Hot Rod Association
They do quarter mile runs in 3.4 seconds. Usually.
-
I made the call in today. I shrunk the show by 7 seconds and I am going to hold a dedication page up for 5 seconds at the end of the show. It will be nice.
-
wow vid 5 seconds your the man
-
Imagine a still graphic on the screen with nothing happening but silence. See how long 5 seconds is. That is quite a while.
-
did you think I was being sarcastic?
-
I agree, that would be freaky. Still sorry to hear of his loss.
What show was this for?
-
Do you know when this show will air and what channel? I\'d like to watch it.
-
First shows of the new season start Sunday the 25th at 11am on Speed Channel. He is in show 208 which would be 8 weeks. Whatever that date is. Not sure.
It\'s Two Guys Garage. The same show I\'ve been doing for 4 years now.
It\'s pretty sad. I watched the show again tonight and he was really cool. Damn that guy knows his shit about rear ends. The show actually is pretty good. You learn a lot about building a ring and pinion from scratch.
-
Do watch the show!!! I saw "The Ring", and I know what happens when you watch dead people on tv.
-
I still need to see that movie.
